COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The main scope of the course is to create strong basis and fundamentals regarding the processes in the Petroleum Refining. We take a look to the Oil&Gas Industry briefly and continue directly with the Refining Process. We then make a focus in each individual unit operation in the refinery.
Learn about:
Oil& Gas Industry
Difference between Petroleum Refining vs. Petrochemical Industry
Overview of the most important operations and products
Market insight (supply/demand) as well as (production/consumption)
Several Petroleum Refineries around the World
Unit Operations & Processes
Refining and Fractionation
Atmospheric Distillation Column
Vacuum Distillation
Hydrotreating (Hydrogenation)
Blending
Reforming
Isomerization
Alkylation
Steam Cracking
Fluid Catalytic Cracking
Gas Sweetening (Hydrodesulfurization)
Coking
Components:
Fuel Gas / Natural Gas
Liquified Petroleum Gases (LPG)
Propane, Butane
Sulfur / Hydrogen Sulfide
Gasoline / Automotive Gas Oil
Naphtha Cuts (Light/Heavy)
Kerosene
Diesel
Gasoil
Lubricants
Vacuum Residues
Asphalt

Nice explination guy 🌷🌷🌷
Thanks and welcome ;)
appreciated effort, go ahead!
Thanks!
Nice explanation ✌️
Thanks 🙂
thanks
You're welcome!
Nice explanation but is there any chance you make a video explaining Hydro-Skimming Refinery whole processes?
ill consider it soon ;)
So what is the basic aim of hydrotreating of Naphtha? And do other things are also hydrotreated?
removal of sulfur from R-S-R sources. Kerosene, Jet fuel, FCC feed, etc... are also hydortreated
@@ChemicalEngineeringGuy thank you sir :D
It really help right now omg tankiee
GreaT! Im glad you found it useful
How to remove naptha samel formula Sher
Hi dear friend
I want to ask something about this process if you have time and could do it ?
Please could you create this video on Aspen hysys
I will! Eventually, currently Im working on other stuff XD
Sound great news
I appreciate it my dear friend
Thanks alot
@@karwankamal thanks for the support!!!
@@ChemicalEngineeringGuy good morning, please I want to ask how can calculate H2/HC ratio *
I suggest you (if you have time of course) to do the engineering design of a simple process like this one where you'de explain the following:
- heat and mass balance
-equipement design
-simulation
That would be awesome and I swear you'll become a reference in ChemE online courses because that is what we seek for and seldom find in the net.
Yeah! Sounds great Idea... I will consider it.... In the meantime, I have those for binary distillation units and gas absorbers / strippers and scrubbers ;) they take time, but I will be doing them little by little, step by step
@@ChemicalEngineeringGuy yes step by step is the best way.
Hello!thanks for the video. I would like to know some method for H2 calculation for natural gas as feddstock in an ammonia plant. Thanks in advance
please send me an e-mail to Contact@ChemicalEngineeringGuy.com
bro your content are good, but can you bring real, practical videos on these topics or and real images of equipments and processess
Will do! Thanks for the tip!
Refiners must have been very upset when they were obliged to do the HDT process, it seems very costly as investment.
Definitively.... But it is also very convenient for fuels as they combust cleaner, more efficient, and do not have any kind of loss due to sulfur-carbon compounds. This is a win win win
