Very good Almir. nice to to work GM. I have a 15/12/10 Hex in the works also.
Thank you so much! I'm still developing this project and I hope you have as much fun as I'm having. 73 my friend!
Hi Almir
Enjoyed your video.
I do have Mini Hex covering from 6m to 15m bands. Made lots of contacts. But not tried 6m.
Presently in USA on vacation. Once back will again be on hex.
Take care

Hi Sam, thank you so much I appreciate! I love the hex with the convenience of multiple bands. I will keep developing this project and add more bands in the future. Best 73's my friend!
Sounds like some kind of rf problem getting into the computer. Try to add an rf choke on the rig side of the antenna, and add ferrite cores to the cat control cables or audio cables. Hope that at helps. Enjoy your Ham holiday. 73 K1QS.
Thank you so much! Yes I agree, specially on 10m I just don't know how to get rid of. 73 my friend.
Did you take any chokes you? I see you have chokes on the antenna side. So check if you if you have a usb cable that is rf protected. does it drop out if you transmit at lower power? How does SSB work on ten? is it distorted or cutting out? That might give you some clues. I have had similar problems.
I had a ferrite sleeve choke at the feed point. I had the same problems on 10m with a yagi that I built. This weekend I didn't have a chance to make contact on ssb 10m but with the yagi I did a few dx and it seems to be ok but again not on ft8 mode.i will try a different USB cable or attached some ferrite choke on the cable. Thank you very much for the suggestions. 73 my friend.
When your swr is high, it comes back inside. 2 ferrite beads are almost useless. You need about 10. At 15 ft up the swr shouldn’t read 9:1. The 10m wire is too short. Closer to the ground should read longer due to ground. I would re measure again
Hi Jay, I didn't have more beads and I will add more. After this first test I noticed that I have to re measure the wires. Hopefully I will get better results next time. Thank you for the comment. 73 my friend!
