The villan in this story is Udaya banu, the retired DSP. He came to the place where Jayachandran is working is to take revenge on Jayachandran for his daughter's suicide ( Arun's lover). Befriended with Jayachandran and got his trust on him. He got right to go to his house at any time and have drink with him. He was engaged Joshi to kill Jayachandron's wife, but luckly she escaped with injuries. Udayabanu has been given money to Joshi as and when he requested. But he disclosed his name to his wife Ramya, thus his wife also became the enemy of Udayabanu. Moreover, he was scared of her. Udayabanu has used vinayakan and manudas to take revenge against Jayachandran, as he is the boss (thalavan) of Jayachandran, he knows everything happening in that station. Mr Karthik joined the station, which was not expected by the DSP Udayananu. He planned every thing and he chosen that particular day to kill Ramya. He came that night to Jayachandran's house and had alcohol with him. It was his plan to call Karthik also to that scene. Later on he warned Karthik that don't disclose his presence in that night in jayachandran's house. He wanted the investigation of this case into his hands. At last he send jayachandran to jail. The first twist in the story is karthik started investigation at the request of the Minister. Retd. ASI varghese is the spy of Udayabanu to know each and every movement happening in that station. He got the number of old auto number of Raghu's father through him. The film story teller (jafer) is the brother of Ramya, who wanted to know the progress of the case. Udayabanu knows each and every movement of Karthik and he afraid that he will find the truth, that's why he planned and placed sinto's dead body in Karthik's house. He trapped Benny also. At last both jayachandran and karthik had doubt on Udayabanu. Udayabanu was killed by Ramya's brother, who find out the truth, and he was shown his villan face in the last scene with the outside crowd. It was shown on the tv that the retd DSP's daughter and wife are staying abroad, in fact only wife, not daughter. Back side of the wedding card placed at jayachandran's house at the time bike fire, shows a picture of a girl hanging. It was the daughter of udayabanu.
