Amazing Encounter with Angels Brings Me Closer to Jesus

Practical ways that helped me with depression, suicidal/self harm issues:
1. Philippians 4:8 “8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things.”
You are what you see, listen, watch, surround yourself with. There is no need for your sad playlist anymore, stop spending hours on news and social media that will upset your mental health, and dwell on good things, uplifting things. I am not saying be blind to it, but in the time you need to heal, take a break, I promise you, you are not missing out on much.
2. Matthew 6:6 “6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
Meet with God everyday, everyday. Go away, build a secret place to meet the Lord. Whether that is your closet, your bedroom, your bathroom, patio, staircase. Wherever you can be alone and won’t be disturbed. Where the Father can heal, speak, teach, guide and listen to you. In this secret place, no one is there. Just you and the Father. So that is why your faith will be really tested, not pretty music like in church services, or people surrounding you to uplift your faith. But in the quiet your faith is really tested to see, do I believe in this unseen God, and your faith now is being built on the actions that come with it. (Faith without works is dead)
3. Isaiah 41:10”10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.’’
You will have bad days, you will have trials, you will have questions. But do not fear. God is with you. That is the greatest gift and will help you. Build that faith, run this race, you are a conquerer in Christ Jesus and He will never leave you. He is always speaking, and is looking for sons and daughters that will always look to Him. No matter the storm in front of them. Rest, our God is Almighty and powerful.
Stay blessed and kept by His Grace, He is with us.
