I like how they didn’t do the whole “Heck no we don’t like each other” thing with him and the governor. They actively flirted and they recognized their own chemistry and will probably start a relationship.
A reason I love this movie, it plays to tropes and cliches (twist villain, third act make up) at certain points with inventive execution, while at others (liar revealed, romantic interactions) it subverts them.
Not in my headcanon. As far as I'm concerned, it's Mr. Wolf x Police Chief for life. Their relationship is a whole lot more interesting in my opinion than Wolf's relationship with the governor's.
I find it fitting that because of Marmalade's disguise, the big bad wolf is fooled by the little piggy and the granny at the same time. It's also fitting that Snake is the one to do the double betrayal. I've always loved this kind of poetic writing in movies.

Also I think the wolf in the sheep onesie is a nod to the phrase "wolf in sheep's clothing" because it wasn't until later that he was 100% sure about going good
Except Mr Snake didn't exactly betray The Bad Guys, he did it so he could pull The Gypsy Switch on Marmalade with the meteorite as a means of playing him for a patsy
The thing that made this character win my heart was that in the middle of beginning of stealing back the meteorite, he went to get the cat and even put sunglasses on it. It always makes me smile
Also, when the gang has to start being good, Wolf plays an old lady Just like in The Little Red Hood, when the wolf disguises himself as the little girl's grandma That was a great detail because he's supposed to represent every well known children's stories bad wolf
The saddest lines in the film was Diane saying “Hey. You okay?” And Mr. Wolf says “No I’m not okay. I’m very, very un-okay. I’ve just left the only friends I’ve ever had. What am I doing?” It felt like Mr. Wolf was close to tears in that part because he lost his friends he only had in his life. It’s bad enough that he wants to be a good guy and telling his friends that they’re always an obstacle or a distraction towards his road to being a good guy but it’s worse when he loses his friends over trying to be a good guy.

Love all the designs but especially wolf's, because he is so versatile. He goes from the cool charmer that we see him as to a full raging wolf when he tries to get marmalade. Very expressive all around and the fangs add a lot to his design
