So his wife asked him, "well, have you prayed about it?" & Gary said, "uhmm, no." so his wife said, "How can you write a Christian song and not pray about it, Gary? Go to the studio, close the door, pray and ask God to give you the lyrics.. " And after an hour, "Take me out of the dark" was born! This song has touched so many lives. we practically grew up with it. in fact, Gary eventually came up with his album called 'Shout for Joy' which became a huge hit for the entire nation. He really offer all of him to God in everything he do. He is an inspiration to every youth. I am a just a college student. He sit with us and shared stories about graces God has given him.
