Thanks @hawkeye garage, just got the veepeak unit I got from your link. Any idea how to create a gauge that tells me what gear I’m in? Can’t seem to find that PID anywhere. Trying to trouble shoot an A/T issue
Sounds like this is the hardware and software to monitor in real time all the temps. you’d want to keep an eye on during a long overlanding trip for a 5th gen. 4Runner w/ an iPad via Bluetooth? As well as do the tranny fluid drain and fill. Strictly want to monitor temps. only. No tuning. Any danger of inadvertently screwing up my ECU w/ OBD Fusion?
Great video, thank you! Just ordered the same setup.
hello

Not sure, I havent tried to do that
I think it’s “Shift Status” in the Toyota/Lexus/Scion add-on if you bought that

This is only for monitoring not for "tuning"
Will I be able to reset the check on the car with the help of this OBD?
yes
Nice
Thanks

@@HawkeyeSkunkWorks thanks bro
This would drain your battery if you keep ‘em plugged in all the time man. Some expensive ones have the auto on/off mode.
mine has never killed my battery
@@HawkeyeSkunkWorks hmm I guess it’s fine if you drive often
I wont connect to my phone via blutooth unless the car is one. Pretty sure the only power its draining is the little blue LED on it. @@awaisakram8573
