Nice video. I have a porta potty with biodegradable stuff that I can toss in nature. I never ever use it.
I go for the option with the view and carry my shit out. Bins everywhere here. Plastic bag does the trick. But more open space and no rain helps too!

A delicate subject treated very well. Almost like a Carry On. BTW, I watched this last night just before my dinner. No loss of appetite to report. LOL

Have you seen Motorhoming with Paul Merton & Suki Webster on Channel 5? In the Great Yarmouth episode there is a review of loos for campervans. 😊

Never fancied using the shovel method as knowing my luck, somebody would come along. 😂 tried to use a fem wee thing the other day and had the same dog walker issue. 😮 so its in a large bottle with a screw lid (make sure its not labelled tizer or lucosade) and i use compostable bin liners with sometimes liquid absorbers.
    Note to nubies,
Those eco binliners sometimes degrade very quickly and so try to find that dog bin as soon as you possibly can.

An excellent review of the options.
I live in a coachbuilt motorhome with a built in cassette but I still seperate pee and poo, mostly for convenience (😉) as I'm up several times a night. Being a bloke, I found a tall square plastic container with a seal on the lid works well. I found the first one in a shop but they're available from Amazon (Plastteam City Series Hamburg Storage Container 2.5l). Depending on where I'm parked it gets emptied into the bushes or down a loo.
In the cassette, I usually only use fresh water with a bio washing pod to break down the solids but anything that breaks down body fat (washing up liquid, whatever) will do the business (😉) and reduces the smell. That gets emptied in a loo or if on a site in the provided disposal point. If possible, I avoid using the cassette and use the toilets in supermarkets, garages, shopping centres, public toilets etc.
I don't understand why some people don't want to talk about toilets, they're something we all have to use and deal with.

    Great video..
What works for me is a cassette toilet 🚽🧻thretford 335 only use for wees but if a 💩 is needed I line the upper section with a biodegradable loo liner bag and dispose of it in a dog 🐶💩bin if needed ..
Big plus is it’s stored in a folding cube so not unsightly to look at ..

I have an Airhead Pro: the 💩 bit lasts me 3 months between emptying Co: the wee separator is too shallow so a slight slope or pee too fast it goes into 💩 bit and it all goes pear shaped so I would look at others in future.

What you need to cater for the most is number ones. A couple of 1.5 litre plastic sangria bottles (wide necks) and a she-wee works great, easy to empty. Number twos for emergencies, a small pot/bucket and a dogs poo bag and for out in the woods a "Mashitty! A flat ended machete for digging and walking along looks as though you are collecting wood and who is going to attack someone carrying a machete?
I think these things are too big for campervans.

With a little practice, seperate it yourself, pee first and poo in a few layers of newspaper, fold it all up.. dig a hole when not raining or bin it/burn it.
For us guys, admiring the view while walking the dog works.. or just say it was the dog when at the back of the van.
In saying all that, when in France it is not uncommon to see a Frenchie at the edge of supermarket carparks.. you're unlikely to see women as they squat out of view between cars.
For me, I pee in a bush, and poo out me bum!
