As genz, we should know that when our parents or elders tell us that we are being different from what the society would want us to be like, they are talking about their society and definitely not ours. Don't worry, most of us go through the same stuff and we should just stand up to be us!
I've often been told that my beliefs and thought processes are very different than socially acceptable mindsets especially by people of a different generation than mine

I've given upon my parents and decided to find happiness when I get financially stable cause my parents always says as I'm financially dependant on them I should obey whatever they says
