M SH has come through 90 mins and looked in good form. Disappointed to see all the crosses going easily into the keepers arms. Guess the 10mins of extra time was good to see when their goalkeeper was taking 20s to kick the ball. Negatives, another poor start to the season looms. Confidence in the squad may be rock bottom by the time Wooton returns? Can the team gel before Tuesday evening?

When you’ve got Danny Johnson in the team he gets one chance and he’s putting it away - guess it’s a type of player you need with the absence of Wootton. Always thought Madden was a handful but he didn’t really show up yesterday.
Paddy is just a little bit older now: 33/ 34. Lost that 1m of zip and zing. Last season, he was looking to drop back in netween midfield. But without Wootton and Stretton, he's our main striker at the moment. Olafe is OK as a substitute but doesn't have the ability to keep the ball down low at the moment. Needs more confidence and match time?

I had tipped them for promotion. Not looking good at all.
We always start the season badly, last 2 seasons we were bottom half after about 15 games and ended up finishing 1st and 4th.
Madden looks finished.
