I don't get why people are upset about removing the manufacturer's names. I'd be mad too if they were using their real names like Colt, Winchester, Sparks, Browning, Spencer etc becuase it would feel like they were paying homage to these important pieces of history and now that would be gone. But Caldwell and Winfield can kiss my ass
I really hope they've finally added drag and drop for tools and consumables. Viewing the 4 hunters was a screen that should have been polished, not re-worked; This is a step back, only being able to see one quarter of the information in one screen as before...
It also looks like hunters don't have random gear unless they are free. The hunter recruitment we have is way better but flat out needs drag and drop. makes it intuitive but what we get with the new UI is basically simpler with less utility and more clicks. they basically reverted to a system that works more like our current legendary hunter panel. which is panel after panel of clicks with very little info or utility per panel.
Rarity system will determine the price... Also the UI may look/work good on console, but the pc players are supposed to choose a weapon and press space if you want to see it? Or hover over it and press space?
I like it overall. I really don't like how they removed the manufacturer names from the weapons. No more Caldwell Pax, just Pax. Plus no more library? Whats with all the erasure of the world-building?
Caldwell isn't the manufacturer though. All of those weapons are Colt models and they didn't want to pay Colt for the rights to use their brand name so they made up their own name. Plus it's confusing and complicated when like a 3rd of the weapons are Caldwells. That's why I always called them by their models (Conversion, Rival, Uppercut, etc). The lore stuff should be returning in the future like he said in the video about the library. I'd just rather have a working UI that they can modify later on than having to keep using the current old UI for another year.

I like how "making it less confusing and easier to navigate for console" just translated to "we added 20 menus to do anything,lol. im hoping im wrong,but atm this just seems so much more cumbersom to navigate for things like free hunters or equipting gear. (also I REALLY hope they sorted the main item list by typing rather than alphabetical. idky they even changed that in the first place.
I'll remind you that the current interface is updated, the old interface looked very different, and when it was released, literally half of the community was dissatisfied. Now it has settled in like an old friend. With the new one, it will be the same, it's normal. It's always hard to let go of the old, even though objectively it has a bunch of drawbacks.
The menus don't do nothing, if you know what you're looking for you can find it just as fast as before, if not faster. I personally don't touch melee weapons so that's one less thing to sort through when I'm looking for my sidearm. If you're not a fan of the new menu systems just click the "all long guns" tab.
Finally, someone said it. They want to cater to console players, which apparently just means making the game look like cod. Now, for PC, it looks like there's going to be at least one if not two extra button presses to get anywhere, which is just as annoying as using a thumbstick to emmulate a mouse. Didn't fix an issue just changed who it affected
Not a fan myself, but they are not going to maintain 2 different UI's for each platform... so the compromise is something you can play on a tablet I guess.

I remember in MW2 and Warzone the menu's were so ass to work through on console and on pc. It's the same amount of button presses regardless and the UI is much better than ever before. Not a fan of the Netflix/cod UI but it's still a vast improvement on what we had.

@@Opinionguy1 The lore from the last event is 100% pointing towards the Rockies, every hint they gave is going in that direction: -Northwest of Louisiana -Past the desert into the mountains -Trees taller than you've ever seen -Miners mentioned in a vision related to it -And most importantly: the air is thin and hard to breathe. All together it points to the Colorado/Utah area, my personal assumption is that it'll be centered on Grand Junction.

Honestly they should just shelf them. If you want them you have 2 months to grind. If not they can be one of those things you can't get anymore. Making them easier is such a bitch move. If the trials are too hard for you, sucks. Not everyone need to be able to unlock everything.
I'm pretty sure the MMR stars aren't there anymore, could be that they're just only visible in team details or something, but maybe they're doing something there.
As much as I like having players get feedback according to their wishes, I'm ok with just hiding all "trophy stats" to discourage anti-gamer behavior. Cheats and exploiters constantly harp about their KD in a game that is "won" by stealing bounties and escaping the map because stats are gameable systems while "wins" don't have a metric.
@@Troublechutor The MMR system is broken anyway. From a gameplay perspective or even lore, most hunters should have a higher bounty for escaping with as many bounties as possible, not kills...so like you said everyone just pushes shots and bush camps or bomb spams in higher MMR. Makes for a very trusting and boring meta.

"Caldwell conversion uppercut deadeye" "Nagant 1895 precision deadeye" "Nagant officer 1895 carbine deadeye". The new names just reduce the clutter on screen and makes everything clean and concise. When I hear someone shoot a "Caldwell conversion uppercut" I just call out "uppercut". They made most of the names the community shorthand version, for instance they renamed the Nagant 1895 officer to just "officer". It adds to the cleanliness of the UI and makes it all much more readable at a glance, seeing simple weapon names instead of walls of text.
Feels like a downgrade for me to be honest XD. Was hoping for trait presets, hp bar preset so i dont have to change it everytime... etc. New one looks like just more clicking and Big Images no1 needed.

If this is true, that would get me to finally prestige from now on. It's the custom ammos I need during events to get challenges done easier. Can't live without them.
Just to save you a little bit of time before the update, spam click the "recruit" button when you're buying a legendary hunter. You can buy at least two at a time, sometimes three if you're fast enough. If you have an auto clicker I imagine you could get even more 👀

I used to main Carcass Gunrunner when I used legendary hunters but found myself liking some of the new skins more but especially being on console needing to click through literally 3 tabs and 15 pages of hunters to get the skin I want was so grating.
Preset loadouts is 100% the most important thing I wanted from the UI overhaul but it seems like it's not really being implemented. For example I should be able to have a preset that starts me with all small health bars + 9 trait points worth of traits (so for solo loadout it would start me with necro, resilience, magpie, bulwark for example) + the weapons/tools/consumables I want. So you can just click 1 button and have it all done. Having to individually make the hunters every time is a pointless time sink and just adds to the tedium of the game.
I agree on the free hunter screen you shouldn't have to click onto each one, You don't need such a large display of the weapons, you could easily get the equipment for all 4 hunters along the bottom of the screen. Traits menu is a huge upgrade, love that you can favourite them now. Not so sure about the lack of tier 1-3 hunters. Was a good way to get equipment that you don't have unlocked yet. Seems custom ammo either has a second unlock progression, or they've removed it from the unlock tree and you just have it with the base variant. I also don't mind the name changes, the amount of times my friend has commed that they died to a 'Caldwell', like is it a Rival, an uppersut or a marathon?

Worst change for me is the removal of seeing all 4 free hunters' gear at the same time. It's already in the tile format, so what's even the point of removing it? Slight visial rework and it would look great with this system and be more functional.
Hi RachraZ, I have a question for you ? What do you think about weapon stat's. EG accuracy %, shot's fired and K/D ratio . I get these stats with most FPS games why not in Hunt. What's your opinion on this ?
The library removal is way huger than than the video makes it out to be. Sure, people are going to save it somewhere (I've personally put a stupid amount of effort into that on the Hunt Discord). Who is actually going to know to look? As an example, who of those reading this knows what the Louisiana Event book is? If you don't know something exists, how will you ever be interested to search it out? Of the new players that join because of the upcoming event, how many will discover any the monster lore by themselves? All that will be left is the loading tips, which people often just gloss over. New players especially should be pointed TOWARDS the lore more, not away from it. A lot more effort needs to go into getting players interested in the story.
Why did they have to change the PC UI at all? It was completely fine? Maybe it could've had a small refresh but this just makes it look like a COD garbage console UI....
Before it looked like a toddler made a f2p mobile UI and added things at random because he forgot about them. Hands down one of the worst UIs ever made. This ine isn't anything great but it's better. Still looks like your average f2p game, just not mobile and made by a toddler in Roblox
I don't care for the look of the new UI, but overall it's a win. It looks a lot less cluttered and seems you won't need nearly as many clicks to navigate through it like now.
I'm 100% with you. The current UI isn't bad in the slightest. It just requires any amount of brain power, which is too much for some, I guess. This new one, though, yikes. This looks like someone couldn't decide on how to organize a room and decided to put each individual item in its own building. Way more cluttered than the current one.
Its absolutely HILARIOUS to me that they prioritized removing the console curser. Am I supposed to believe that console players can competitively aim in FPS games but cant handle navigating menus with a joystick??? If that was such a problem why would FPS games ever be on console?
It’s just a quality of life feature that makes navigating the menus on controller/gamepad less obtuse. Aiming consequently is way easier than navigating the menus with joysticks, the cursor just moves painfully slow in the menu.
I think it’s unnecessary and I’m on Xbox but I will say just a tad faster cursor than what it is on max setting. Anything lower than max and you’re scrolling way too slow.
You do realise aim assist is a thing right? In every console fps ever. Because aiming on a controller is awful and no where near as accurate as a mouse. The idea of console aim being "comparative" to mouse is genuinely hysterical.
I mean it's really just more a Quality of Life update. I play with a controller on PC since I just came from console. The cursor moves god-awfully slow with a controller.

Also I have like 90k dollars and 15 dudes decked out. Essentially infinite money unless I die like 90% of the time. I'm only asking for a reason to prestige and I see none.
@@messiahmozgus I mean to each their own I'd just want to unlock the trial skins. Since the trials sucked and ranking up prestige is is super easy. I don't really use much custom ammo and I never use long ammo weapons. So a prestige really doesn't hurt my playstyles very much. Plus who needs infinite money in hunt? It's so damn easy to get, I'm always up to 50-60k by the time I'm read to prestige again. Prestige in most games don't give much if anything. As it's most often just a fun thing to do trying to hit that cap. Lol.
Overall looks fine. Im sad they got rid of the lore in the library section. If they took away the random nicknames from hunters tho ima be super sadge. That was such a small but nice detail.
I really like the books and the random names for hunters and would hate to see those features go. Details like that really add to my immersion and set the game apart from other random shooters. I hope they'll reconsider.
i'm on console - never had an issue with the cursor - if you can't control it in the menu, then good luck playing the game lol- I kind of liked the old menu though - the real annoying thing for consoles is trying to move the vertical scroll bar on the right. I think they've tried to simplify the visuals by making the weapon boxes larger for example, but then you''ll have to scroll more. maybe the d pad thing will be easier - but I always find using the d pad more fiddly than the other controls on console.
The UX is very console-ified form over function. There is SO MUCH wasted screen space. The tiny icons on the left for categories then big subcategories at the bottom. For weapons, why not just have the screen filled with a nice list. Instead of a button for 'Knives', just have the list show that with the various knives listed under it in a row. Far more information in a compact form. Definitely beats having so much empty space.
what we asked for - mainly things to speed up menu time to get us in games faster.. simplified menu's, preset health bars so we don't have to waste time respec'n the same bars every hunter purchase.. remove bug that won't let you remove a trait if it's filtered out. fix the issue where if you missclick the button to remove trait it takes you back to the lobby where the "remove trait" button is now the "dismiss hunter" button.. the ability to favorite traits.. or better yet, a way to set customized trait loadouts. have a list that it runs like a script. if you can't afford 1 of them, it skips to the next and runs down the list until reaching the end. simple quality of life changes. what we got - call of duty 2.0... a flow chart of clicks to get to things now.. over complication where it wasn't needed.. more hunters/skins (because we def needed those. currently at over 100 lego hunters).. pretty graphics that were unnecessary in a menu.
I wonder how the hunter equip works now. They only showed roster and weapon store, which almost no one uses because people buy through the equip screen. Hopefully they improved that, fixed all the bugs with contraband once and for all, kept loadout presets, added independent presets for weapons/tools/etc. and FINALLY added drag and drop.
i dont think the spear is coming before 15.8? my guess is, that the spear was planned to release before 5.11 and new ui and they just moved it to later

I started hunt on console, I got the platinum for it on two different accounts and put tons of hours into it. It's even where I met the bulk of my playstation friends from. I have swapped to playing hunt on pc and it's one of the only games I do. I'm not sure I could ever go back to playing hunt on console. This is fine for me though as I can play other games on my playstation between matches. Also extra bit here but honestly hunt would have to do so much to lose me as the style of game I just don't see else where. Even if they removed solo necro it wouldn't bother me since I played solo long before that was ever a thing. Lol.
As a PC player and someone who did all the trials on 3*, i still like the new changes for the most part. But please no rarity in legendaries, that feels kind of off to me.
You know one change I would like (even pay for it) is if all rhe characters have different voice lines, Instead of the same voice for every hunter. Pleaseee 🥺
This UI is even worse than the one we have now. Back in beta 1.0 you booted up the game, clicked on roster, selected everything you want from that one window, clicked "play" on the bottom right and you where queuing, simple as that. This new UI requires you to scroll to gear select the slot you want, the type of weapon you want, select the weapon, back out 3 menues, go to secondarry slot, select type, select gun, thats 11 clicks just to equip two guns. Whoever is doing UI/UX needs to be fired.

No trait, healthbar presets (who in the right mind chooses to go with 3 big bars). Recruitment is straight downgrade. Now you have to click every hunter.... Watching streamers run through a memorized series of clicks to just : Select last hunter / Select last loadout / respec health to last one used and then select traits according to what points they got from buying the skin... really highlights how players ACTUALLY interact with the UI as it is. There needs to be a macro for each of these tasks at the top of the bounty hunt screen. I'll spend 5 minutes tweaking a custom loadout and then only ever run it on a particular legendary hunter that picks the same traits in sequence. Just give me one-click re-set after a match please.
Wait getting to pick which skin you get on hunters is pretty cool if that's true, I love being able to choose the style of my hunter and since I don't have a lot of skins on pc since most my skins are on my console. I usually stick with the t1-3 skins.

Something I am hearing a lot of people saying is that they are removing the library. Yes, this tab is going to be removed. However, they also said that they are working on a system to reintegrate rewards from the library but that it would not be included in the August launch of the new engine. It would simply make no sense for the lore to be completely removed and I am sure that they will be adding back all of the lore in a new, more organized way.
Some of the UI changes are decent, but I got 2 issues with this. Some are quality of life and simplicity for PC and Console, but this entire new UI leans way more to Console use, which some of it looks kinda crappy. The new recruitment menu being one my issues, and it kinda sucks as it doesn't allow you to see the recruits inventory at all until selected. My second issue is the factor of the lean towards console. Not that console is a problem, but the UI in the main menu is so... mind numbing simple??? It's hard to say what it is other than I don't particularly like it. I kinda hope they keep the legacy menu as an optional switch for Hunt Showdown.
I don't keep up with a whole lot of new games nowadays. Hunt, TF2, OW2, and some indie roguelites. So, coming from OW2, and TF2 especially, I can't help but root for and appreciate Crytek still putting in so much love into their 6 year old game. I'm just gushing man
I used to play on console and im not a big fan. It looks even more like a f2p game. I hate all the modern UIs that are identical and they all look like f2p mobile games. But is this coming alongside the ps5 version? Is it all launching in August?
Ehhh, UI update isn’t really necessary imo. The current UI isn’t complex and can be figured out/explained in 5 mins. If anything they should have just had a help button than could walk players through the UI or help them when needed. The throwing spear, though! 👏🏽
i dont really like the rarity system, it feels like they are gonna add some type of loot boxes to the game which would suck, and also every skin/hunter being legendary is just better imo

I didn't really get the skin rarity thing, I know it's a thing that all the other big games do, but for Hunt I think it's just going to add another confusing pointless visual clutter. I mean new people are already always confused about how skin works in this game, why add another extra layer of confusion? Just let the individuals decide whether the skin looks good or not, instead of the game telling you how "rare" it is.

I remember in MW2 and Warzone the menu's were so ass to work through on console and on pc. It's the same amount of button presses regardless and the UI is much better than ever before. Not a fan of the Netflix/cod UI but it's still a vast improvement on what we had.

-Northwest of Louisiana
-Past the desert into the mountains
-Trees taller than you've ever seen
-Miners mentioned in a vision related to it
-And most importantly: the air is thin and hard to breathe.
All together it points to the Colorado/Utah area, my personal assumption is that it'll be centered on Grand Junction.

Honestly they should just shelf them. If you want them you have 2 months to grind. If not they can be one of those things you can't get anymore. Making them easier is such a bitch move. If the trials are too hard for you, sucks. Not everyone need to be able to unlock everything.

I'm pretty sure the MMR stars aren't there anymore, could be that they're just only visible in team details or something, but maybe they're doing something there.
As much as I like having players get feedback according to their wishes, I'm ok with just hiding all "trophy stats" to discourage anti-gamer behavior. Cheats and exploiters constantly harp about their KD in a game that is "won" by stealing bounties and escaping the map because stats are gameable systems while "wins" don't have a metric.
@@Troublechutor The MMR system is broken anyway. From a gameplay perspective or even lore, most hunters should have a higher bounty for escaping with as many bounties as possible, not kills...so like you said everyone just pushes shots and bush camps or bomb spams in higher MMR. Makes for a very trusting and boring meta.

"Caldwell conversion uppercut deadeye" "Nagant 1895 precision deadeye" "Nagant officer 1895 carbine deadeye". The new names just reduce the clutter on screen and makes everything clean and concise. When I hear someone shoot a "Caldwell conversion uppercut" I just call out "uppercut". They made most of the names the community shorthand version, for instance they renamed the Nagant 1895 officer to just "officer". It adds to the cleanliness of the UI and makes it all much more readable at a glance, seeing simple weapon names instead of walls of text.
Feels like a downgrade for me to be honest XD. Was hoping for trait presets, hp bar preset so i dont have to change it everytime... etc. New one looks like just more clicking and Big Images no1 needed.

U guys saw, that there was no special ammo mentioned in the berthier unlock screeen? -> No more special Ammos? U have them from the beginning on (no need to unlock them)?
If this is true, that would get me to finally prestige from now on. It's the custom ammos I need during events to get challenges done easier. Can't live without them.

Hopefully with this new UI you can recruit multiple hunters so if I want 10 Billy Stories it takes me 10 clicks instead of 40 clicks
Just to save you a little bit of time before the update, spam click the "recruit" button when you're buying a legendary hunter.
You can buy at least two at a time, sometimes three if you're fast enough. If you have an auto clicker I imagine you could get even more 👀

I used to main Carcass Gunrunner when I used legendary hunters but found myself liking some of the new skins more but especially being on console needing to click through literally 3 tabs and 15 pages of hunters to get the skin I want was so grating.

Preset loadouts is 100% the most important thing I wanted from the UI overhaul but it seems like it's not really being implemented. For example I should be able to have a preset that starts me with all small health bars + 9 trait points worth of traits (so for solo loadout it would start me with necro, resilience, magpie, bulwark for example) + the weapons/tools/consumables I want. So you can just click 1 button and have it all done. Having to individually make the hunters every time is a pointless time sink and just adds to the tedium of the game.

I agree on the free hunter screen you shouldn't have to click onto each one, You don't need such a large display of the weapons, you could easily get the equipment for all 4 hunters along the bottom of the screen. Traits menu is a huge upgrade, love that you can favourite them now. Not so sure about the lack of tier 1-3 hunters. Was a good way to get equipment that you don't have unlocked yet. Seems custom ammo either has a second unlock progression, or they've removed it from the unlock tree and you just have it with the base variant. I also don't mind the name changes, the amount of times my friend has commed that they died to a 'Caldwell', like is it a Rival, an uppersut or a marathon?
True. Our friends are legit bots for that one. Like oh the "Nagant" or the "Caldwell" And me: WHICH ONE?! THE NAGANT PISTOL, THE MOSIN NAGANT, OR THE OFFICER CARBINE?! THE SHOTGUN THE UPPERCUT OR THE NEW ONE?!

Worst change for me is the removal of seeing all 4 free hunters' gear at the same time. It's already in the tile format, so what's even the point of removing it? Slight visial rework and it would look great with this system and be more functional.
Hi RachraZ, I have a question for you ? What do you think about weapon stat's. EG accuracy %, shot's fired and K/D ratio . I get these stats with most FPS games why not in Hunt. What's your opinion on this ?

The library removal is way huger than than the video makes it out to be. Sure, people are going to save it somewhere (I've personally put a stupid amount of effort into that on the Hunt Discord). Who is actually going to know to look?
As an example, who of those reading this knows what the Louisiana Event book is? If you don't know something exists, how will you ever be interested to search it out? Of the new players that join because of the upcoming event, how many will discover any the monster lore by themselves? All that will be left is the loading tips, which people often just gloss over.
New players especially should be pointed TOWARDS the lore more, not away from it. A lot more effort needs to go into getting players interested in the story.
What I would really appreciate is a moving target on the test map to train shooting moving targets. So sad it's not there yet. It's so necessary!
Why did they have to change the PC UI at all? It was completely fine? Maybe it could've had a small refresh but this just makes it look like a COD garbage console UI....
Before it looked like a toddler made a f2p mobile UI and added things at random because he forgot about them. Hands down one of the worst UIs ever made. This ine isn't anything great but it's better. Still looks like your average f2p game, just not mobile and made by a toddler in Roblox
I don't care for the look of the new UI, but overall it's a win. It looks a lot less cluttered and seems you won't need nearly as many clicks to navigate through it like now.

I'm 100% with you. The current UI isn't bad in the slightest. It just requires any amount of brain power, which is too much for some, I guess. This new one, though, yikes. This looks like someone couldn't decide on how to organize a room and decided to put each individual item in its own building. Way more cluttered than the current one.

Its absolutely HILARIOUS to me that they prioritized removing the console curser. Am I supposed to believe that console players can competitively aim in FPS games but cant handle navigating menus with a joystick??? If that was such a problem why would FPS games ever be on console?
It’s just a quality of life feature that makes navigating the menus on controller/gamepad less obtuse. Aiming consequently is way easier than navigating the menus with joysticks, the cursor just moves painfully slow in the menu.
I think it’s unnecessary and I’m on Xbox but I will say just a tad faster cursor than what it is on max setting. Anything lower than max and you’re scrolling way too slow.
You do realise aim assist is a thing right? In every console fps ever. Because aiming on a controller is awful and no where near as accurate as a mouse.
The idea of console aim being "comparative" to mouse is genuinely hysterical.
I mean it's really just more a Quality of Life update. I play with a controller on PC since I just came from console. The cursor moves god-awfully slow with a controller.

@@luxnoria max rank 100 means nothing. Giving up all my custom ammos and all my unlocked guns means the next event will be twice as time consuming to do. It's not worth one more legendary skin. Also I have like 90k dollars and 15 dudes decked out. Essentially infinite money unless I die like 90% of the time.

I don't really use much custom ammo and I never use long ammo weapons. So a prestige really doesn't hurt my playstyles very much. Plus who needs infinite money in hunt? It's so damn easy to get, I'm always up to 50-60k by the time I'm read to prestige again.
Prestige in most games don't give much if anything. As it's most often just a fun thing to do trying to hit that cap. Lol.

Overall looks fine. Im sad they got rid of the lore in the library section. If they took away the random nicknames from hunters tho ima be super sadge. That was such a small but nice detail.
I really like the books and the random names for hunters and would hate to see those features go. Details like that really add to my immersion and set the game apart from other random shooters. I hope they'll reconsider.
i'm on console - never had an issue with the cursor - if you can't control it in the menu, then good luck playing the game lol- I kind of liked the old menu though - the real annoying thing for consoles is trying to move the vertical scroll bar on the right. I think they've tried to simplify the visuals by making the weapon boxes larger for example, but then you''ll have to scroll more. maybe the d pad thing will be easier - but I always find using the d pad more fiddly than the other controls on console.

The UX is very console-ified form over function. There is SO MUCH wasted screen space. The tiny icons on the left for categories then big subcategories at the bottom. For weapons, why not just have the screen filled with a nice list. Instead of a button for 'Knives', just have the list show that with the various knives listed under it in a row. Far more information in a compact form. Definitely beats having so much empty space.
what we asked for - mainly things to speed up menu time to get us in games faster.. simplified menu's, preset health bars so we don't have to waste time respec'n the same bars every hunter purchase.. remove bug that won't let you remove a trait if it's filtered out. fix the issue where if you missclick the button to remove trait it takes you back to the lobby where the "remove trait" button is now the "dismiss hunter" button.. the ability to favorite traits.. or better yet, a way to set customized trait loadouts. have a list that it runs like a script. if you can't afford 1 of them, it skips to the next and runs down the list until reaching the end. simple quality of life changes.
what we got - call of duty 2.0... a flow chart of clicks to get to things now.. over complication where it wasn't needed.. more hunters/skins (because we def needed those. currently at over 100 lego hunters).. pretty graphics that were unnecessary in a menu.
I wonder how the hunter equip works now. They only showed roster and weapon store, which almost no one uses because people buy through the equip screen. Hopefully they improved that, fixed all the bugs with contraband once and for all, kept loadout presets, added independent presets for weapons/tools/etc. and FINALLY added drag and drop.
i dont think the spear is coming before 15.8? my guess is, that the spear was planned to release before 5.11 and new ui and they just moved it to later

I started hunt on console, I got the platinum for it on two different accounts and put tons of hours into it. It's even where I met the bulk of my playstation friends from. I have swapped to playing hunt on pc and it's one of the only games I do. I'm not sure I could ever go back to playing hunt on console.
This is fine for me though as I can play other games on my playstation between matches. Also extra bit here but honestly hunt would have to do so much to lose me as the style of game I just don't see else where. Even if they removed solo necro it wouldn't bother me since I played solo long before that was ever a thing. Lol.

As a PC player and someone who did all the trials on 3*, i still like the new changes for the most part. But please no rarity in legendaries, that feels kind of off to me.
You know one change I would like (even pay for it) is if all rhe characters have different voice lines, Instead of the same voice for every hunter. Pleaseee 🥺
This UI is even worse than the one we have now.
Back in beta 1.0 you booted up the game, clicked on roster, selected everything you want from that one window, clicked "play" on the bottom right and you where queuing, simple as that.
This new UI requires you to scroll to gear select the slot you want, the type of weapon you want, select the weapon, back out 3 menues, go to secondarry slot, select type, select gun, thats 11 clicks just to equip two guns.
Whoever is doing UI/UX needs to be fired.
It's basically a console UI, while the current one is made for PC

No trait, healthbar presets (who in the right mind chooses to go with 3 big bars). Recruitment is straight downgrade. Now you have to click every hunter.... Watching streamers run through a memorized series of clicks to just : Select last hunter / Select last loadout / respec health to last one used and then select traits according to what points they got from buying the skin... really highlights how players ACTUALLY interact with the UI as it is. There needs to be a macro for each of these tasks at the top of the bounty hunt screen.
I'll spend 5 minutes tweaking a custom loadout and then only ever run it on a particular legendary hunter that picks the same traits in sequence. Just give me one-click re-set after a match please.

Wait getting to pick which skin you get on hunters is pretty cool if that's true, I love being able to choose the style of my hunter and since I don't have a lot of skins on pc since most my skins are on my console. I usually stick with the t1-3 skins.

Something I am hearing a lot of people saying is that they are removing the library. Yes, this tab is going to be removed. However, they also said that they are working on a system to reintegrate rewards from the library but that it would not be included in the August launch of the new engine. It would simply make no sense for the lore to be completely removed and I am sure that they will be adding back all of the lore in a new, more organized way.

I feel a lot of people dislike the UI simply because they do not like change, lmao.
Some of the UI changes are decent, but I got 2 issues with this. Some are quality of life and simplicity for PC and Console, but this entire new UI leans way more to Console use, which some of it looks kinda crappy. The new recruitment menu being one my issues, and it kinda sucks as it doesn't allow you to see the recruits inventory at all until selected. My second issue is the factor of the lean towards console. Not that console is a problem, but the UI in the main menu is so... mind numbing simple??? It's hard to say what it is other than I don't particularly like it.
I kinda hope they keep the legacy menu as an optional switch for Hunt Showdown.
