An hour in and I find it a bit depressing. Examples are one awful sounding man that harasses people into buying insurance they don't want or need, and another that got lucky his fellow sales people didn't recognise the market demand for a particular device. The book has so many good reviews I will persevere. I hope it gets better. Phillip.

First year of running never really did cardio like that. Basically I’m saying this book unlocks a lot of mental blocks and confusion and clears things up in a way that makes you understand you are in control of everything around you. Your ideas 💡 can and will become reality.
Good for you! Seems like a simple thing, but it's not. Every time I see someone jogging down the street, I look at them with admiration. I'm proud of them and inspired by them. To be consistent about it and I know it's a wonderful feeling. Not just because you're taking care of your body and possibly losing weight, but the self-discipline, the feeling of getting outside and the smell of the fresh air and the way it frees your mind. I think I have admired random joggers more than I have admired people driving fancy expensive sports cars.
Yessir. Last year I wanted to take walks so I can lose weight. There was some days where I only did 230 steps for the whole day. Fast forward a year later, the highest steps I did and a challenge I wanted to conquer was 100,000 steps in a day. It’s insane if you have a desire and you can see it, it’s possible. This was before I listen to this book. 1 hr in. Listening to this while I get my daily steps: funny how life works in coincidence

This is a fantastic and inspiring book, it was given to me in a box with about 20 other books about 15 years ago a lady she was an author and she was giving away books to the Smithsonian Institute and I was there to pack them up in boxes so she can have them shipped, and she asked me if I wanted some books and I said yes of course, and she said here you can have these and in the Box I found thinking and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. At the time I didn't think much of it it stayed on my shelf for many years till I found this video about the book several months ago and realized that all this time I had the book sitting on my shelf, so I was going around looking for the book found it and began to read it and I have been inspired ever since. My thanks to Andrew Carnegie and Napoleon Hill and Earl Nightingale on explaining very eloquently on the importance of reading this book. Thank you my life is forever changing.
This recording is worth its weight in gold - literally. There is nothing I could criticize about it. The narrator has a fantastic voice that is easy to follow and has the tonal quality commensurate with the importance of the subject matter. The well written and thought out comments by the editor to add points of interest that help make the text more up to date and help fill in the gaps (cracks) time has introduced into the original 1929 manuscript help bring each section into much greater clarity. I sent the link to one of the young men I am hoping to include in my master mind group and said in the text to him: .... What a book, about at the end of the book, I felt like a lot of things look like light rays come to me from all directions. I believed it’s a positive energy entering my body. Awesome video 🔥 Just wanted to share some of the things I picked up while listening that I think would be of utmost benefit to you Napoleon Hill said that in all the 13 principles that there's going to be THAT one where you would find the secret and where everything would click for you. And I found out that in almost all the stories, there was a common thread that ran through them. It was something that is so common that you would casually ignore it. That one thing is PERSISTENCE. Napoleon Hill emphasized that they all made PERSISTENT CONTINUOUS EFFORTS to attain their desired outcome. Barnes decided to seek a partnership with Edison and even though he didn't get it at first, he STAYED until the opportunity arose Henry Ford demanded he get the 8-cylinder engine NO MATTER WHAT. He refused to believe it was impossible. Marshal Field said he'll build the greatest store NO MATTER how many times it gets burned down. This goes to show that we cannot attain our goals if we are giving up after one obstacle or roadblock. We need to continue to believe and take action. It's not something actively taught. This is something ppl have to search for or be told by others who knows. A LOT of people are misinformed... honestly I thank Robert Kiyosaki for that one.

Each time you will find and identify yourself as a new person due to the new circumstances you experience every day, over time. Read it and re-read it even 1 million times if possible. What a book, about at the end of the book, I felt like a lot of things look like light rays come to me from all directions. I believed it’s a positive energy entering my body. I felt the same thing when I was religious when praying in my parent’s living room. At the time I only saw the light rays suspending around me. Hope everyone enjoyed the reading.❤❤❤

Just wanted to share some of the things I picked up while listening that I think would be of utmost benefit to you
Napoleon Hill said that in all the 13 principles that there's going to be THAT one where you would find the secret and where everything would click for you. And I found out that in almost all the stories, there was a common thread that ran through them. It was something that is so common that you would casually ignore it.
That one thing is PERSISTENCE. Napoleon Hill emphasized that they all made PERSISTENT CONTINUOUS EFFORTS to attain their desired outcome.
Barnes decided to seek a partnership with Edison and even though he didn't get it at first, he STAYED until the opportunity arose
Henry Ford demanded he get the 8-cylinder engine NO MATTER WHAT. He refused to believe it was impossible.
Marshal Field said he'll build the greatest store NO MATTER how many times it gets burned down.
This goes to show that we cannot attain our goals if we are giving up after one obstacle or roadblock. We need to continue to believe and take action. "The whole course of things goes to teach us faith- We only need obey". - Emerson

i understand the points of this book, and i didn't finish it yet..but i have some questions about all the "great men" the this books talk about, the company's they made..and how is that all that richness come from just their ideas and not the oppression of other, for example rail road of the trains in the United states..it just come to my mind..that ok think and you can go rich but how you make it??? it just make me think..

I agree, he said prepare a pen and notebook and write your definite chief aim. I realized thoughts are really things, from your mind that can't be seen to the paper (physical form). I prefer now writing in paper rather than digital
