Quentin Tarantino’s ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognize anymore. The ninth film from the writer-director features a large ensemble cast and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.

Totally agree. Also, if you watch closely when they are all opening their water bottles he is looking to share his water with Leo and Shannon, eventually pouring a glass for Shannon. Everybody else just opened and poured their own water. It's the little things that make the difference. Total gentleman, for all his wealth and fame.
That was the first thing that I noticed that how warmly he welcomed everyone plus he poured water for the lady sitting next to him... it's these details that tell a lot about a man's character... He's handsome, has been an A lister for decades and yet he's so not full of himself... n is such a genuine n coolest guy in Hollywood x

Brad Pitt’s, Cliff Booth, character is the coolest bad-ass character I have ever seen on screen. Leo’s, Rick Dalton, was great too!

Love Tarantino. Leo is one of my favorite actors but is very composed & serious in real life. Love Brad's down to earth vibe. Would also love to see Brad and Leo in more films together. They compliment each other beautifully!

Studios spend a lot of money on films. Audiences don’t go like they used to. Unfortunately, this creates a conservative mentality based the profitability of a project. Which is why I love the films of the 60s-80s. On the plus side, you’re seeing much better quality In television that would have normally been reserved for films.
They are not running out of ideas, Hollywood is just a business. They just do what is marketable.

They focused a lot on Leo and Brad, I know they’re the biggest , most famous out of everyone, but it would have been great to hear more questions directed towards Margot, Quentin , and David.

Steven Gätjen did a real great job here, and this WASN'T a typical german stiff press conference! They all felt very welcome and Tarantino thanks for it at the end! Go ahead and compare this one to the ones in other countries! Kudos Berlin!

I do like Quentin's answers. Pitt stays is such good shape yet smokes. How in the hell does he do this? The Dalton character was an interesting choice for a subject matter . Imploding actor on the edge. That was interesting. Love to see Pitt and Robbie do a road movie of some sort. 2 perfect blondes traveling around having fun being charming so easy and effortlessly fun. Traveling rt 66 or something.

oh god, that bad habits question.. I was almost cringing out how bad it was. But it did produce the funniest moment (and an even more awkward one) via Tarantino telling everyone in the room that they all pick their noses but don't have the balls to admit it 😂
I also feel like thats kinda needed like this press conference was REALLY good had some deep questions and I don't even think there was ONE question abt Leo and his love life but there has to be a moment where ppl can just like chill with getting analytical abt the film and just be w the actors

I ha e already seen it twice. We were in West Hollywood two weeks before the movie came out. We ate at Musso & Franks, the El Coyote and were on Hollywood Blvd. Saw the theaters that were in this flick. It was like seeing our vacation all over again. lol

in my generation so many basic millenials are into the "hippie" aesthetic without really understanding the culture of the 60's and the "flower power" movement. they think of sexual and social freedom, drugs, sex, etc. they know little about the tradegy. this movie needed to be made now, during this strange time where people my age escape into the "past" when not really knowing about "the past." quentin did an extraordinary job showing us what that time was really like...

After reading the book and watching the film a handful of times I think it's safe to say that Rick Dalton is one of my favorite Quentin Tarantino characters. Right up there next to Beatrix.
