And they had to write a short paper on a still of the Kupyansk front during the end of term exam. Now, for a month, we have been working on your sitreps. Russian soldiers raised a flag near one of the buildings of the pipe plant.
There are Russian rumors about Ukraine amassing 20,000 troops and attacking a section of front between Kursk and Belgorod regions. Part of troops pulled back from Donetsk and part trained in EU.
We would have seen intense shelling & bombing if that were true. The most likely scenario would be AFU has reinforced the Kursk front with a total 20k troops this month.
Only problem is, Russia has reserves now. 20k attacking somewhere wouldn't go anywhere. They'd probably capture a few more fields. Zelensky is desperate because he thinks Russia will negotiate and give him concessions if he has Russian land. In reality Russia isn't going to negotiate until ukraine capitulates and gives them the entirety of Eastern Ukraine. This is not a scenario here Ukraine gets something in return. They'll need to accept Russian terms.
