the day one ghost massacre was truly a memorable experience, etched into the hearts of everyone who played on the first day of the update with a group size of five or more, thank god they patched it in eight hours

Gakamis Gaming they spawn whenever a tombstone is broken. Someone dies, the players remove it to try and prevent a graveyard, ghosts come and kill people, they mine more gravestones, repeat.

@@LeaksHater one blue slime or zombie kills one person, the rest fall to the single ghost requiring the attention of every player to keep at bay
Just gonna put here that the King Slime fight was 25-30 minutes long.

Number of players is the problem, not mastermode
If each player carries theeir weight the number of players shouldn't matter/ more is better
SkeletalSpiders I agree plus if one dies it won’t really matter the the boss with de spawn because of the others
SkeletalSpiders more can also be worse though since the boss health scales with players. so 8 players combined with master mode is a big yikes

Legendary wooden sword - thing i never saw in terraria
I actually spawned with a legendary copper pick
I then proceeded to never see a legendary again for like ~6 months
I kid you not, I had a sluggish TerraBlade. Upgraded it once at goblin tinkerer and got godly.
I got legendary cactus sword first try before tooo
actually had one this playthrough, the first wooden sword I crafted was one^^
I have amazing luck and commonly get mystical /godly/legendary on the third reforge
Lmao just the pure screams when they face the ghosts. I felt that.

Master mode: we didn’t think, we just changed the stat boosting algorithm so you don’t have fun

This is very hardcore seed. It makes bosses big or small and many other bad updates.
Just write "for the worthy" in seed.
@AUSTIN BARNES For The Worthy makes bosses exceptionally difficult, and makes other things much more frustrating too. However, Red's Potions will naturally spawn in chests and instead of killing you, will give 3 random buffs for 30 minutes

I remember watching this when it had about 40k view and look how far you've gone Gromek. It's so heartwarming going back to these days but it kinda makes me sad because I was way happier back then.

The ghosts are like an infection of death
Somebody died and mined up their gravestone to spawn one and it proceeded to murder everybody making a graveyard biome for more to spawn
When they dispatched the ghost, they had to clean up the gravestones to stop more from spawning but they just spawned a lot more ghosts who together with the zombies cornered them and killed them
To solve their little problem, they decided to leave and never using the world again

There’s a method to do that. They will break a pot to get a gold key, some way or another, sneak in from the side or something and look around the dungeon from the outside for a gold chest.
I probably explained it really badly, but uh, that’s how he did it.

Honestly, Master Mode is cool and all for it being the next step up in a challenge, but I really wished the devs added some new A.I to the bosses instead of just giving them more attack and defense.
Yeah, FTW was cool, but a lot of people aren’t gonna find out about it because it’s sort of niche unless you find it on the internet

Ok. So my friend dumped me, himself, and one of my other friend into master mode. And we have like, no experience. And we have died. The only boss we’ve beaten are the brain and the eye. Tbh can’t wait to binge this series and see how experts do vs what we 3 idiots did.
