I will guarantee your workouts will be better if you don’t pick up your phone after every set! You will see the gains 💪 This apps will make sure you don’t even need your phone. Also I recommend you get the cellular version of the Apple Watch so you can just leave it at home 👍🏽
I used to use the built in timer on Apple Watch between sets, I can use my palm to over the screen to stop buzzing, then after the rep I hit repeat timer. Now I just use Apple’s own custom workout on its repeat features, I do need to tune it a few times, but it works very well without any manual pause and resume anymore, although manual pause is still quite simple especially on ultra watch (just pinch the 2 buttons from both sides at the same time. This is easier for me than many apps which still require some manual actions during workouts and the alway running progress (unless you pause it) keep me working, I imagine the AI app wouldn’t remind you at all or does not remind u often enough and right on time.
Hey Aaron, The AI app, Train, discussed in this video just got an update and now has a count down timer that will buzz you after you complete a set! You can customize the length of timer too 👍🏽

I believe Apple Watch to be a better all around smartwatch since it does much more than just fitness things. Also, I haven’t heard of Garmin using AI yet and this last app in this video is the best of them all imo. Been using for over a year now and it is fire!🔥

Does train have templates I can use or do I need to create my own workouts?
You can create templates or replicate a workout into a template on the phone app. There are no pre-made templates in the app yet.

No. Definitely not worth it. The released the Ultra 2 just to release a new product. There’s nothing different.
