Although Alessandra is dancing on main stages again, Royal Opera in Wolfe works last year, and R and J at NYMet this year, it is also plain that like Nureyev and Fontaine, Dowell and Sibley, even Muntagirov and Klimentova - there are some partnerships that defy all the norms and are just above being analysed, they just 'work' and bring out the best in both dancers. Roberto and Alessandra besides being great friends, are both artistically and emotionally in sync, they enhance each other, and had a unique partnership, watch any of their work together and it is apparent that they bring something special to any performance.
