as someone who has never had a family member lose their eyesight, i can still understand the dynamics between Night and Day. although the audience hasn't been given more clarity on the conflict between the siblings, i understand that Night cares for his brother, and he's trying to be helpful to Day. it takes time for Day to accept help from others, but his character is well portrayed. Day is just trying to adapt to the new things he's experiencing, and it will take some time for him to realize that not everyone treats him badly, Night and their mother being examples, they care about Day so much that we just don't realize it yet, this series going to be a rollercoaster experience for me:")))

Also yes I know I may have misspelled his name I also think that they kinda treat him like glass instead of a person since he lost his sight, that might also be the case to everyone he meets. While with mhork he doesn’t, he treats him like he would everyone especially in the interview scene with them going back and forth you can kind of tell it is the first in a while that someone has spoken to him like that. Also while everyone else kinda forces him to do or go places mhork gave him the options, like when the mother just came up to him and grabbed him to bring him Into the house.

The moment were Day was by himself in the traffic was very scary and accurately potrayed. We could see all the feelings Day was going through like him feeling confused and stressed, getting overwhelmed and scared/afraid in the situation, by everything that was going around him/the noises ect. I loved that we also got to see Day’s pov, the situation through his eyes.

Mork stopping Day and saving him from getting hit by the shooter. Day was scared and confused at that moment. I like that Mork asked him if he was okay and also asked him where he was going, telling him he was willing to take him there. Mork was asking and also giving Day an offer but not in a demanding way. Even though I do think that Day might be able to recognise Mork by his voice or that Mork voice is familiar to him. I still love that Mork did not just say that its him, but that he was more specific and told Day where/when they had met each other and where he knows him from.
Okay but props to mark he is sooo polyvalent in every series has been in he literally makes his character sooo REAL like the acting is just top tier he never disappoints !!
The argument between Day and Night was so heartbreaking but realistic. It's clear that Day is struggling and is giving others shit because he's scared of this new way of living he has to adapt to, a way that include his inability to be as independent as he once was. Night was wrong for saying hurtful things and making his brother feel like a burden. However, Night is trying his best to take care of his brother and is clearly exhausted... As someone who became a sort of caregiver for a sibling who was struggling with a lot of things, I can assure you Night is not saying that because of Day's blindness. He's not saying that Day losing his eyesight and him having to help is a burden and it's exhausting him, he's referring to Day's behaviour, which is understandable but not always excusable. Let me tell you, as a sibling, you are willing to help, putting time and effort to make their life is easier because you love them and want what's best for them, BUT I can tell you from lived experience that when the person you're trying to help is not only being "uncooperative", but is also being rude and mean to you when you've done nothing wrong, it IS EXHAUSTING. And you know they're acting like that because they're not okay, so you understand and try your best to let it go, but when they're acting like that all the damn time, there is a moment when you break because YOU ARE ALSO HUMAN... and even though you love them, and you understand that they're only saying these hurtful things because of what they're going through, there's a point where those words starts to actually hurt and IT'S OKAY to want to say "F*ck it!". The behaviour can be understanble but not excusable. When you understand it, I can assure you it makes you more patient and more tolerant to mean words being thrown your way, but it doesn't make you hurtproof... Someone who is suffering deserves compassion and patience, but they're not exempt from taking responsabilities when they're being assholes... Both points of view are understandable, but both were wrong for what they said.

What made it more heartbreaking was the fact that Day most likely didnt know what the doctor had said, and because it seems that the cornea transplant was the one thing, the only hope Day saw and was holding on to. Day stating; ”Damn it! Even though i’m dying, don’t help me.” Everything that was said between Night and Day, made Day feel even worse then he already was feeling, made him feel like a burden and like there isnt a light at the end of the tunnel at all.

I hope that that is not what is going to happen cause that would be sad on so many levels. I’m saying this as a person who is visually impaired. I know there have been many who have been hoping for Day to get an cornea transplant, For Day’s disability to be cured. Personally, I would love it more if in this series we would get to see Day’s journey to accept him being visually impaired and adapt to his life now. For him to gain back his independence, confidence and feel comfortable within himself and his life ect. Day being happy and also us getting to see MorkDay as a interabled couple. Rather then an other story were disability is being potrayed as something that needs to be cured or fixed.
Maybe it's destiny finding a way for Day and Mork to meet a second time. I can definitely sense that Mork has that caring and understanding side in him, we'll see in a few episodes how his character development along with Day.
Mark really nailed his role...❤❤ I have already fallen in ❤ with the story... Wanna see how the story unfolds in bits and pieces as we progress each episode... Jimmy and Sea has done a great job ❤
Omg!! I seriously love how it's shot that you can see the POV of Day like I was scared for him when he appeared on the road, it reminds me of myself in some scary situations and how Mork saved him... Day is gonna fall first for sure but the way Mork is asking about him and watching him, hmm, maybe they'll fall in love at the same time.
It is very hard when you are very independent and all of sudden have to need help that is not easy. Especially for an international athlete and being a guy.
He should be excused. It is not easy to see and lose sight. He has a bad psychological state. He is a very nervous person, and his brother would not have told him that he should have his corneas transplanted. If he does not find him, it will destroy his psyche even more. I hope he takes care of him no matter what. Brother, I really felt pain from seeing a blind person suffering alone in walking or even searching for something 😢
I want to thank Jimmy and Sea for their hard work. I'm very grateful that these two played such wonderful roles. Because I believe in JimmySea that they will be playing it so brilliantly, I think the development of these two characters will be flawless 💜💙
Damn, the traffic scene was so intense! The hospital scene was directed and acted out so well. We can see Mork getting curious of Day's situation and life starting in the elevator when Day didn't recognise Mork. What a great way to make them meet again! It's the perfect setting for showing the change in Mork's attitude towards Day. I kept replaying the rescue scene on the road. I can't wait to see their first kiss. They were already so close and Day not being able to see Mork only adds to the tension. Falling for each other despite not knowing how the other person looks, really puts the focus on the feelings, attitude and behaviour.
Mark tiene ese don de interpretar tan bien cada uno de sus personajes. Chico dejate ayudar aunque no confíes, es duro pero luego veras confianzaste en vano o no. Me encantó como lo observó en el ascensor sin interrumpir.
After seeing this, it is clear that Day is struggling and is hurting. He is in his grieving process. We could see all the different emotional Day was experiencing/feeling like frustrated, sad, scared, uncomfortable, angry ect. He feels like he has lost everything. Day is grieving the person he was and everything had, but also the person he had imagined himself to become and the future as imagined for himself. I cannot be sure but I think that at least partly the reason he talked to his brother Night that way in the car was because Day felt like he had lost everything his present and future and he took his feelings of anger/frustration out on his brother. While I know that Day wasnt kind when talking to his brother and I can understand how tough being caregiver and family member at the same time can be…Still Night talking to Day the way he did wasnt okay cause even if he can never understand how Day must be feeling/Day’s point of view/how it feels to be Day, Night should still be able to see that Day is having a difficult time at the moment. The most hurtful thing was when Night threw the statement regarding the cornea transplant at Day when that was in a way the only hope Day was holding on to at the moment.
Sea and Jimmy are amazing actors just look at them! Look at how different their characters are from past ones. I don't see Puen and Talay at all when I watch Mhok and Day. A lot of actors can't differentiate between characters but these two can. Shows that they are multi-talented. It's not easy to portray someone who is blind when you are not but wow Sea! I'm so proud of him. And I love Jimmy's bad boy side in this series. The scene with Day and Night was intense. I'm wondering if he had anything to do with the car accident Day suffered? The street was so realistic I was scared, so glad Mhok was there.
In this episode it never fails me to have such a heavy feeling of mixed emotions: annoyed, pity, and irritated of Day's sulking behavior though it's understandable..for a person who lost his sight in sudden manner will make him into a monster- unpredictable irritable man. Thinking that everything that you used to do will be gone, that will make you forget all your dreams and ambitions in life it's hard..I cannot imagine how unimaginable would be the feeling of being lost and alone
As a visually impaired person. I cannot tell you how difficult it is at times when people come up to me and they expect me to know who they are just like that or if they greet me while passing by or if im supposed to find them within a huge group of people. Especially if we have only met a feel times. I personally learn to recognize people by their voice, the way they walk, habits that are unique to them ect rather then things like outside appearance like clothing, hair ect. Things that can change to put it more simply. Thats why I like how Mork said its him, implying to Day that he is someone he knows. And then also right after he was more specific. Mork told Day also when they had met and more info about him, which would help Day to also know where exactly they had met.
P'Aof and his music!!!! First the elevator scene and then the street one - I love it!!! I feel so bad tho for the brother I understand both sides even tho we don't know Night's story yet but for now I believe that he wants to take of his brother but also at the same time its hard to see him like that? I don't know but for sure Night doesn't know how to treat Day now, so he's just treating him like a child which is not the right way. And this is where Mhok comes in because he doesn't see Day as child-like person.
Damn I instantly fell in love with this one!! The scene where day was stuck in middle of traffic was scary ngl!! Seriously wanna know more about the beef between the brothers. But the way sea has depicted the emotions was chef kiss. The feeling of losing something so important and not being able to accept help from others was executed so well by sea. Mark is also slaying this role. The way u can see concerns from his face for his brother. It's hard for everyone when something like this happens... And I find their names day nd night really adorable It was just a moment, but they already showing their off the charts chemistry 😩

Sea's acting is no joke. Him playing a half-vision character...I know its very challenging. I was so anxious when he was on the roads. Love how they are showing us how the vision looks from Day's POV, and it felt so scary...and Day was a badminton player....just imagine how terrible his situation is. The series name is Last Twilight, the siblings are called Day and Night. I wonder why Day is so furious at his older brother...its obvious they are on bad terms even before Day lost his vision. Do you remember the blind restaurant scene in Only Friends...Top taking Mew on a dinner date? I think it was GMMTV's way of hinting their next series Last Twilight.

Im not used to seeing Mark in this harsh of a role. He has a soft personality and cute smile 😊. Day is going through the early stages of trauma- "my life/career is over", "im gonna die", "you're jealous and want what i have ", "noone understands/cares", "I'm all alone, noone is helping", and his attitudes and emotions are starting to fluctuate. It's terrible when you have a broken part of your body- especiallywhen you've been healthy forever!! And Mark is trying to move on, but humans are humans; and it's hard! They will need each other

wow that scene between Night & Day is perfectly portrayed & executed. it must have been hard for Day & his ego, as someone who's always able to do everything BETTER & BIGGER than his brother (he's a national athlete) to now having to rely on someone else. and also for Night, he's frustrated about this whole situation, he also has his whole life waiting for him, yet theres this tragedy etc etc. BEAUTIFUL CONFLICT!! thanks P'Aof for this wonderful story now i'd really like for Thailand to cover something similar to this but from the point of view of someone like Night (like the closest people/ our family has an incurable disease/ disability etc but also want to live our life for ourself, something maybe like My Sister's Keeper but not to that extreme lol)
Nope, Day isn't a brat for saying that to Night. He is in a completely helpless state where he knows that he will have to live a life depending on others and one of the most precious things that a person can have, their vision, has been snatched away from his almost completely. So his anger is valid. His insecurities are valid. He needs someone by his side who can understand the mental state he is in, and even though his family is trying his best, he actually needs someone who won't pity him or treat him with utmost care, but instead, tell him exactly the kind of brat he is so he comes to terms with his life.

First episode and Im very invested to both leads' character. Day's struggle, an athlete, loosing the capability not only to be able to compete but also to do basic things is ten times worse than usual. I'm impressed with how effective Sea's acting sl far.
as someone who's famli member lost thier sight due to an accident i totally understand how Day is reacting and acting. You have had your sight and have not needed anyones help and suddenly you need to rely on persons for the basic things....the stress the change its happened lots of times where my family member would just explode and say the harshest things a;though they are in a tough situation no one should belittling or shouting and insulting the person that takes care of you because speaking from experience that hurts like bricks.
I get why Day start to accept that Mork beside him, if normal people saving Day from that traffic, probably force him to go to the car, but he cared about Day's thought more than anything, he knew Day didn't want to seat on the car, so suggested him to get on the motorcycle, he didn't bc his eye problem to skip his willingness.

Omg!! I seriously love how it's shot that you can see the POV of Day like I was scared for him when he appeared on the road, it reminds me of myself in some scary situations and how Mork saved him... Day is gonna fall first for sure but the way Mork is asking about him and watching him, hmm, maybe they'll fall in love at the same time.

It is very hard when you are very independent and all of sudden have to need help that is not easy. Especially for an international athlete and being a guy.
He should be excused. It is not easy to see and lose sight. He has a bad psychological state. He is a very nervous person, and his brother would not have told him that he should have his corneas transplanted. If he does not find him, it will destroy his psyche even more. I hope he takes care of him no matter what. Brother, I really felt pain from seeing a blind person suffering alone in walking or even searching for something 😢

Damn, the traffic scene was so intense! The hospital scene was directed and acted out so well. We can see Mork getting curious of Day's situation and life starting in the elevator when Day didn't recognise Mork. What a great way to make them meet again! It's the perfect setting for showing the change in Mork's attitude towards Day. I kept replaying the rescue scene on the road. I can't wait to see their first kiss. They were already so close and Day not being able to see Mork only adds to the tension. Falling for each other despite not knowing how the other person looks, really puts the focus on the feelings, attitude and behaviour.

After seeing this, it is clear that Day is struggling and is hurting.
He is in his grieving process.
We could see all the different emotional Day was experiencing/feeling like frustrated, sad, scared, uncomfortable, angry ect.
He feels like he has lost everything.
Day is grieving the person he was and everything had, but also the person he had imagined himself to become and the future as imagined for himself.
I cannot be sure but I think that at least partly the reason he talked to his brother Night that way in the car was because Day felt like he had lost everything his present and future and he took his feelings of anger/frustration out on his brother.
While I know that Day wasnt kind when talking to his brother and I can understand how tough being caregiver and family member at the same time can be…Still Night talking to Day the way he did wasnt okay cause even if he can never understand how Day must be feeling/Day’s point of view/how it feels to be Day, Night should still be able to see that Day is having a difficult time at the moment.
The most hurtful thing was when Night threw the statement regarding the cornea transplant at Day when that was in a way the only hope Day was holding on to at the moment.

Sea and Jimmy are amazing actors just look at them! Look at how different their characters are from past ones. I don't see Puen and Talay at all when I watch Mhok and Day. A lot of actors can't differentiate between characters but these two can. Shows that they are multi-talented. It's not easy to portray someone who is blind when you are not but wow Sea! I'm so proud of him. And I love Jimmy's bad boy side in this series. The scene with Day and Night was intense. I'm wondering if he had anything to do with the car accident Day suffered? The street was so realistic I was scared, so glad Mhok was there.

In this episode it never fails me to have such a heavy feeling of mixed emotions: annoyed, pity, and irritated of Day's sulking behavior though it's understandable..for a person who lost his sight in sudden manner will make him into a monster- unpredictable irritable man.
Thinking that everything that you used to do will be gone, that will make you forget all your dreams and ambitions in life it's hard..I cannot imagine how unimaginable would be the feeling of being lost and alone

I cannot tell you how difficult it is at times when people come up to me and they expect me to know who they are just like that or if they greet me while passing by or if im supposed to find them within a huge group of people.
Especially if we have only met a feel times.
I personally learn to recognize people by their voice, the way they walk, habits that are unique to them ect rather then things like outside appearance like clothing, hair ect. Things that can change to put it more simply.
Thats why I like how Mork said its him, implying to Day that he is someone he knows.
And then also right after he was more specific.
Mork told Day also when they had met and more info about him, which would help Day to also know where exactly they had met.
So proud of Jimmy and Sea for nailing such difficult roles!!!!
P'Aof and his music!!!! First the elevator scene and then the street one - I love it!!! I feel so bad tho for the brother I understand both sides even tho we don't know Night's story yet but for now I believe that he wants to take of his brother but also at the same time its hard to see him like that? I don't know but for sure Night doesn't know how to treat Day now, so he's just treating him like a child which is not the right way. And this is where Mhok comes in because he doesn't see Day as child-like person.

Seriously wanna know more about the beef between the brothers. But the way sea has depicted the emotions was chef kiss. The feeling of losing something so important and not being able to accept help from others was executed so well by sea. Mark is also slaying this role. The way u can see concerns from his face for his brother. It's hard for everyone when something like this happens...

Sea's acting is no joke. Him playing a half-vision character...I know its very challenging. I was so anxious when he was on the roads. Love how they are showing us how the vision looks from Day's POV, and it felt so scary...and Day was a badminton player....just imagine how terrible his situation is.
The series name is Last Twilight, the siblings are called Day and Night.
I wonder why Day is so furious at his older brother...its obvious they are on bad terms even before Day lost his vision.
Do you remember the blind restaurant scene in Only Friends...Top taking Mew on a dinner date? I think it was GMMTV's way of hinting their next series Last Twilight.

6:51 They look so good together. Such a nice match it's almost unfair. And that angry look on Mork's face and the confusion and fear on Day's face are so on point! The music accentuates the scene very well. This already looks so promising. Might become one of my favorite series.
Im not used to seeing Mark in this harsh of a role. He has a soft personality and cute smile 😊. Day is going through the early stages of trauma- "my life/career is over", "im gonna die", "you're jealous and want what i have ", "noone understands/cares", "I'm all alone, noone is helping", and his attitudes and emotions are starting to fluctuate. It's terrible when you have a broken part of your body- especiallywhen you've been healthy forever!! And Mark is trying to move on, but humans are humans; and it's hard! They will need each other

wow that scene between Night & Day is perfectly portrayed & executed. it must have been hard for Day & his ego, as someone who's always able to do everything BETTER & BIGGER than his brother (he's a national athlete) to now having to rely on someone else. and also for Night, he's frustrated about this whole situation, he also has his whole life waiting for him, yet theres this tragedy etc etc. BEAUTIFUL CONFLICT!! thanks P'Aof for this wonderful story
now i'd really like for Thailand to cover something similar to this but from the point of view of someone like Night (like the closest people/ our family has an incurable disease/ disability etc but also want to live our life for ourself, something maybe like My Sister's Keeper but not to that extreme lol)

Nope, Day isn't a brat for saying that to Night. He is in a completely helpless state where he knows that he will have to live a life depending on others and one of the most precious things that a person can have, their vision, has been snatched away from his almost completely. So his anger is valid. His insecurities are valid. He needs someone by his side who can understand the mental state he is in, and even though his family is trying his best, he actually needs someone who won't pity him or treat him with utmost care, but instead, tell him exactly the kind of brat he is so he comes to terms with his life.

First episode and Im very invested to both leads' character. Day's struggle, an athlete, loosing the capability not only to be able to compete but also to do basic things is ten times worse than usual. I'm impressed with how effective Sea's acting sl far.

as someone who's famli member lost thier sight due to an accident i totally understand how Day is reacting and acting. You have had your sight and have not needed anyones help and suddenly you need to rely on persons for the basic things....the stress the change its happened lots of times where my family member would just explode and say the harshest things a;though they are in a tough situation no one should belittling or shouting and insulting the person that takes care of you because speaking from experience that hurts like bricks.
