I having issue when selecting the sketches @10:00 all of my sketches are hidden, I cannot select the upper corners as the sketch does not show up. How do I fix this so I can select the corners of each sketch?
This is not the correct method of designing a boat. If you just want to make a pretty model its ok, but it will give students the wrong impression on really how us yacht designers use the software. one of the main differences is you need to use the Boundary blend tool. Secondly the free form sections cannot be dimensioned, it will be way to difficult to fair the surface in the next step when creating the longitudinals. maybe after the hull form is faired, then you could put in dimensions for reference later for lofting. I will be happy to send you some examples of a real hull form design using CREO if you like. Other than that I am really enjoying your videos, even after years of using CREO i always learn something new.
Hi Sailingwindrush, thank you for the kind words. This is a lesson 8 of a "basics" class on how to model, it's not intended for advanced users designing yachts.
That video was exactly what I needed. Thank you! 10/10

Do you have a tutorial on making a aluminum boat, and converting to Sheetmetal for making patterns?
