This was a wonderful tutorial! Pipe cleaner curls are great because you can tie them up at night and the curls will last for 3 weeks or longer. Tip: If you don't want your pipecleaner curls to be so tight, just curl your locs the night before. They are not like braid-outs that you have to leave in for several day to get the crinkles. I've curled my locs with pipecleaner at 8pm and had bouncing curls in the morning that lasted three weeks. When your curls fall more, you are going to love them, you'll see!!

You did a great job. I wear them all the time as a protective do. I wear them tight the first week, then I pull them back into a curly pony tail, or wear them down. Never a bad hair day!!

Your curls came out great! Hopefully they drop like you want them to. I have an old pipe cleaner set and only a few curls really dropped after almost 6 weeks. Your locs are similar in thickness to mine.
SimplyNatural I've reused them a couple of times so you could but you'll have to replace them eventually because they start to not work as well. At least that's been my experience.

I never used pipe cleaners, I used perm rods. It looks great. You could also wear them in.
