OMG! this is awesome, I can't wait to make some, and maybe sell them locally! I love the extra fabric idea for the extra flair, and as it won't actually touch the horses skin you can use bargain/sale fabrics!!! brilliant
I absolutely love this video so much!! You taught me A LOT!! 😍 do you get your supplies for Michael's? I love your ribbons too! Everything is just perfect!
Yes, I bought it at Hobby Lobby for about $7 a yard. Hobby lobby does have a great 40% off coupon on their website, so I actually got it for like $4.50 a yard!
Try changing your needle, because I have to change mine every five or six times I sew with Velcro because the needle gets very dull very fast. You can buy a pack of five from Walmart or any fabric store for two or three dollars, and just follow the instructions that your machine came with to change it. Hope this helped :)
Nice job! However, you are using your plastic ruler in the wrong way. You should have the ruler on top of the piece, measuring out the 4", under the plastic. Then just cut with your rotary knife. You will eliminate the need to mark your fabric...much faster!
Subbed :) I have been waiting for a channel like this for ages now!!! I sew alot and would love to help out with this channel if you need it Miah xxooo

I can't wait to try this!
This is awesome- I have to make these for my horse!
You should try putting the pins in with the head towards you. Makes it easier when taking them out.
Can't wait until I get a horse so I can try these out

Do you have to wash away the marker before use? :3
Is this for 2 polo wraps or do I need to double the yards?
Omf! This is SO cool! Did you make all your polo wraps? C:
and i subbed!!!
What kind of scissors are those. I like how they cut
Not sure! But they are the expensive fabric scissors made specifically to cut fabric easily :)
how many polo wrap did the 3 yards of fleece make?
What tool did you use to cut your fabric?
The 4X13... It that a standard size? Like what would you say pony size is and what would draft or large be?
pony would be 6 feet. idk about a draft
So 8 feet for a smaller horse?
Hi I was wondering where you get all your supplies from
Mostly hobby lobby and michaels. But any fabric store should do!
aaha thanks :)
I'm making my own business making leg wraps how many metres is 9ft?
"how many metres is 9ft"
You only have to type that into google and it will tell you.
SORRRRRY
robert henly No need to apologise, just a simple tip.
I think you've found it out already lol. But 3ft is 1m :)
do you know how to sew letters onto saddle blankets?:)
Do you have to use fabric I thought you could just use fleece?
You can just use fleece, I just added the fabric as a cute touch. (This is my other channel, I'm too lazy to sign into DIYequestrian)
You don't use fabric you use fleece, you have to use anti pol polar fleece
hey Im just wondering why you just add a small section of fabric to the polo? whats the purpose of it?
You don't have to! I just think it's cute and adds a flair to the wraps!
Can u show us what the look like on the horse ?? Plz
how much fabric would I need for minature pony ones?
I think it would be 2 yards of fabric, but you can always make them a bit bigger just in case, wrap them, and then cut off the extra unneeded bits
How long for horse sized polos?
Can you make a bit warmer??
Where could you buy the fleece material?
Pretty mush any fabric store! Note that fleece is expensive!
Yes, I bought it at Hobby Lobby for about $7 a yard. Hobby lobby does have a great 40% off coupon on their website, so I actually got it for like $4.50 a yard!
Wow! i got mine for like $9.00 a yard at fabricland in Canada!
Hey @jumpingstarr I go to sew my velcro and my machine won't sew through it

Nice job! However, you are using your plastic ruler in the wrong way. You should have the ruler on top of the piece, measuring out the 4", under the plastic. Then just cut with your rotary knife. You will eliminate the need to mark your fabric...much faster!
what is this polo thing?
Well it's hard for me to get a video up every week, so I was thinking that there could be several people uploading to this channel.
Be really careful that the material you pick is not too stretchy. you can injure your horses tendons that way.
Thank you so much for making these!
Wish I knew how to sow "sorry bad spelling" wish I owned one too$$$
Subbed :) I have been waiting for a channel like this for ages now!!! I sew alot and would love to help out with this channel if you need it Miah
