Very interesting Mims. This is one skill set that lot of us Homesteaders/ Preppers are probably weak in. Good info thanks.

Lady you are such a wealth of knowledge, I been wanting to make some of this garlic honey so thanks for the reminder. I just harvested my Turmeric, I have to get better at growing it, but I grew at least more then I started with, from just a few pieces I sprouted on my kitchen counter too. I am fortunate to have a Moringa tree just have to build something to support the small branches as I harvest a bit at a time. I have an idea for setting up a system for washing drying and powdering it for supplements as it gets to be a big mess. Wish that logic/planning/execution side of my brain would stop shutting down! Much love to you and yours lady.

I made fermented honey, but I let mine “brew” at least 3 months. I’m so glad I had it on hand because I had a bad ulcer attack. My stomach was burning and nothing helped. Then, I remembered I had some manuka honey and my fermented garlic honey! I made some tea and put a few spoonfuls of both and before I even finished the cup the burning stopped! It has been the only remedy I have found that stops the burn! I have tried pepto, rolaids, tums, milk of magnesia, etc...
now, I’m trying to heal my ulcer with the honey, cabbage juice, aloe Vera juice and cranberry, plus supplements and homemade bone broths. So far it’s working great. ❤

oh neat I thought you had to mince the garlic and cover with honey, Only when I had some a few months back I had spoon full for two weeks and it help with a bit of belly fat 😮👍 been thinking of doing it again next month to see if it works a bit more. of course shoveling snow and other bits of work out's helped too like walking 😃thanks for sharing
