Yugi vs Joey is the greatest off-screen Duel that we really should have seen on-screen, whether it be in a what-if Battle City Finals or in the Duel right after Battle City that we never saw. Also, nice callbacks to the Duelist Kingdom Duel with how Joey beats Summon Skull with laming Swordsman, Joey busting out his Fusion, and even actually beating Dark Saga this time around with Thousand Dragon. Also, also, some very impressive coding with the Dice Rolls, Time WIzard, and Magical Hats, if I was capable of that then my own Yugi vs Joey Duel would have been so much better.
Thank you! But the last part had praise beyond my deserving. I didn't script anything for this duel. Magical hats is from a pack on deviantart, time wizard exists on edopro and I just removed graceful dice's dice roll so I just turned it into a multiplier. All because it was pretty annoying making the duel where I first had to roll a 4 with graceful dice, then 50/50 twice on arduous decision, and then, if I managed to get to time wizard, I had 2/6 chance of getting it right, which happened once. I actually have this duel scripted since August, but only yesterday did I have the patience to make it.

Attack with Red-Eyes and Summoned Skull seperately, then activate Graverobber (still in the Battle Phase) to fuse them into B.Skull Dragon, and then activate Quick Attack (Quick-Play Spell) to attack for game. And he still won the duel anyway. That's surreal. Mad respect for Joey.

Im a little sad we didnt get to see Joey with Ra fighting Yami with Slifer and Obelisk. But this feels more friendly, and Joey would've given Yami Ra afterward anyway to help get Yami's memories back
So I'm guessing Joey would take red eyes back but give Yugi ra to complete his destiny also how is it Yugi only got one trap card in that whole duel where's his mirror force nutrient z feels like Joey got way more spells and traps
Yeah seems like lady luck favored Joey this time around though that does make it interesting as Joey still loses to kaiba so does that mean kaiba's the strongest
@@connellychase573the thing about Joey is he gets stronger after every duel whether he wins or loses so his loss against kaiba made him stronger for this duel, kaiba only gets stronger if he loses and stagnates with wins, and yugi’s strength comes from the stakes as his control of fate is activated and becomes more focused by the height of the stakes so Joey had the advantage in this duel especially since he knew yugi’s deck even better this time around.
it's still way too unrealistic that Yugi lost even if Kazuki Confirmed it, i feel it is way too undeserved considering Joey lost to Rishido, couldn't defeat Marik (if Marik went all out instead of containing himself)

Appreciate how you managed to keep it in battle city decks but also recycle some of the combos from their duelist kingdom duel.
I'm impressed not only did Joey win but he did it by beating the monster that won Yugi the match in duelist kingdom.

Although it is unrealistic, the point of the duel is to show joey's growth
Post Battle City Joey is more than capable of taking Yugi on. He would probably even beat Marik in a rematch.
