HA me too. I've been following ATEEZ and TXT for a while, but to Everglow I'm new, so I'm excited. I too immediately noticed their unique sound(a touch of hip-hop, a bit of Irish sounds in the quick 'nanana', and some parts sounded like an Indian song). I liked the lyrics too which are important to me and did y'all know QUEEN LIA KIM choreographed this.

The lyrics at the chorus is "bon bon chocolat, go up to the sky". This song is actually about the feelings you feel when you make your debut after all the hardships you went through during trainee days. And the debut is like the sweet treat you got. And also the point of the dance with their hands gesture is to symbolize the shape of bon bon chocolat since they are round in shape XD
I'm honestly curious to see how this group will preform live since it's heavily autotuned for effect. Like, do you think they will have autotuned mics or will the autotune be the backtrack? What do y'all think?
Edit: Hey y'all, so I watched all of the currently available live performances. Unfortunately, it's evident that two out of the three performances are lip synced, however, the third (on KSBKpop), is indeed live!
So far they've put the autotune in the backtrack while the girls sing with regular mics. Of course there's some semi-crap quality to the mics they have but overall, it seems to me that they are in serious need of more breath control. Most of the time, they were quite shaky. That was more than likely due to the fact that they're rookies and the choreography being fairly demanding, but I think with more practice (and probably less nerves) they'll do very well in the vocal department. This is a hype song so I expected it to be difficult for them to master right away. I hope they comeback with songs that are little more chilled out so we can see what they're really made of!
Thir debut stage is tomorrow on mcountdown and I really hope they'll sing live): I already heard them live and they got amazing vocals.

Hey, check out their new stage on KBS today , it's live and pretty stable for a rookie group and I do think there's a big improvement for them tho not to mention Mia, the purple hair girl is dammmm stable and the fact shes the main vocal and main dancer at the same time 👍🏻😃

I feel like with Twice's huge success, followed by Blackpinks, these companies know the competition is stronger than ever, and the girl groups are even competing heavily with guy groups now in terms of success and raw numbers. They need to be willing to spend the time and money, as well as finding some really dedicated and hard working idols to make a mark in this generation of kpop. I hope this trend makes all these companies take girl groups a lot more seriously than a lot of them have in the past.

I was expecting a cute concept because 2 of the members are from produce 48 are known to have that image (the show where Izone members won), they didn't made the cut but created a fandom for themselves.. Sihyun was the girl who started the song via her vocals while Yiren is the girl riding a horse and most of the time infront during chorus.. definitely a bop for a debut song.
