I have never understood how they have been slammed by people so much. This band is one of the best I've heard. Cant say there's a bad song on any of their albums. They deserve a lot more credit.

When i was younger i used to listen a lot to nickelbacks songs and linkin parks old music to get through the depression i was living by then. Today i listen again to all their songs and i just cant stop the tears, i made it, i'm good now and the songs just reminds me how strong i've become. To ppl who judge these bands they dont know nothing about LIFE or the real meaning of music, real music with real lyrics

It's been a almost 20 years since I graduated from high school. I've been bullied in my high school days and I can proudly say that Nickelback were one of those who saved me from those awful years and kept me going...

This song takes me back to the days in 2012 when I was in an extremely abusive relationship. He’s made an attempt to kill me but by the grace of God my neighbor was nearby and my door was unlocked so he was able to stop him. I thought this was the only life I was capable of living. I left him, stayed single, and focused on my faith in God. A couple months later I met my now husband and we have a son and a daughter together. Always have faith. Life can change on a dime. Trust him!!!!

I saw them live 2 times. I have been to over 150 concerts and have seen many artists. I was absolutely blown away by nickelback. By far the best live act I have seen.

For all of you who dont understand the video here it is:
He commited suicide (as you see at the end on the newspaper)
now at the beginning of the video she is reading about him dying and its covered by the milk so you cant see what it says and the whole video is basically him thinking hes still alive and that she is just leaving him (or hes trying to stop her because he knows whats going to happen) (hence why he is chasing her to stop her from leaving) but since hes dead she doesnt see anything its actually just her trying to escape it (or something like that) and the whole time he thinks hes going to be able to stop it he actually cant because he took his own life and had he not he would still be there and the accident wouldve never happened but because he did he couldnt do anything and because of that she ended up dying in a car accident all because he killed himself (thats why they both hugged afterwards because they were together again) and then it shows you the newpaper at the end so you can put it together - i might have made this way harder to understand so if you can make it easier go ahead its just for those wondering
P.S.-the milk part for those of you who didnt notice why they have them stepping in it is because she left footprints behind and he didnt
and basically what i get from this video is dont do anything out of anger bc she seemed angry at the beginning and it led up to something worse
Her boyfriend died in the the bridge traffic accident. She was reading about it and became sad. His footprints aren't in the milk and she doesn't see him outside in her rearview mirror because he's dead. There are 2 versions of the video. 1. She dies and is reunited with her man and hugs him, they walk away together leaving everyone looking at the accident and the 2 of the walk pass the newspaper where us viewers finally see what happened to him. 2. She survives and walks past him without a scratch, right past everyone staring at her and she walks pass the newspaper where us viewers finally see what happened to him so that leads us to believe he was her guardian angel which goes back to the lyrics in the song. He made it up to her that day.
