This demo works only on earlier PET 2001(N) models.
Newer 40xx and 80xx CRTC models are not supported.
Some effects require cycle exact timing, so it could
not work in your emulator.
However, a custom emulator build tested on XPET / Vice
version 3.6.1 (Windows build) is provided.
See the notefile in the floppy disk for tech info.
Watch your demos as intended, only real hardware is real!

Very impressive!
I downloaded and tried it on my 3032 using PETdisk; must to be said that in real life is even better than looking at it on youtube!
This demo is totally awesome and unbelievable, especially because the PET has *NO* graphic capabilities (maybe Alessio didn't know that, for that reason he succeeded LOL). I ran it many times to appreciate how, 45 years later, somebody broke this limit. It's really incredible what Alessio & C. achieved with this demo. The astronaut is insane!
I can't wait for another demo... maybe something like a graphic slideshow?

commodore PET is an cpm computer
no, it isn't. It boots from ROM with microsoft basic (called commodore basic) but of course you can also program it by machine code.
