If you're going to check out more of NewJeans (which I would definitely like to see!), I'd recommend watching their MV's in the order they came out. Some of them have references to other MV's and the overall sounds, for me at least, seems to develop. Great reaction! :)
NewJeans is running to the top of K-pop girl idols to the point where they are called the next BTS. Just over a year after their debut, they are an amazing group that has already achieved five hits on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200 :D😀

If you follow K-pop at all you will know NewJeans. They're already known and loved worldwide and they're just getting started. You probably won't ever see a group get to their level of popularity in the amount of time they have. Blackpink and BTS didn't even have the following they do this quickly. They're phenomenal vocalists, dancers, and their overall vibe is just great. I recommend listening to Ditto, but you have to watch both MVs of it in order. It's one of the best stories told through K-pop you'll see. NewJeans is bringing a very unique sound to K-pop and they're only going to grow. Love that you're getting into them already Knox!

I recently found myself going down the Kpop Hole (in a good way) New Jeans are a refreshing change from prior generations of Kpop groups. They actually focus on Vocals as well as choreo and Storytelling. I will highly recommend watching their Music Videos (Even doing Side A's & B's like cassettes 😉 back in the day) in release order, each E.P. tells a story thru its tracks.

when they debut I remember saying how refreshing it was to hear their music versus either the girl crush, experimental, and/or cutesy genres that you are used hearing/seeing in Kpop. However, the music is strictly only radio airplay when you chillin. Seeing it live on stage is boring af. I would like to see how far they can go if they continue with this sound and concept. I feel like the general public will get tired of it. I can't picture them touring domes or arena with such songs. People want to rock out... have fun... cheer.
