    How do you drain the oil out of a GP300?

    Hello, I think it was just the camera angle but it looked as the RA was slanting upwards at the front as opposed to “level” when you were checking the dipstick....could you just clarify that for me please? Thank you and have a great 2021 🇬🇧👍

      Hi Phil, The scooter is on a flat surface on its main stand so all other angles are based on that.

    Could you tell me whether it is safe to perform this wearing chinos?

    • @MikeColwell
      @MikeColwell  3 года назад +2

      Unlikely due to the flammability factor. Wear cords you'll be fine!

    Hey bud how often would you check the oil in the tg300 ? Im asking because my buddy has a vespa hpe and is fairly constantly topping her up. Wondering if the new tg300 engines are similar. Thanks for the great vids and any assistance :)

    • @MikeColwell
      @MikeColwell  3 года назад +1

      The TG300 is the Piaggio engine as is the GP300. I check my oil every month however it doesn't seem to require topping up much at all.

    Also , any tips on how to get those side panel rubbers to stay on when your putting the panels back ?

    • @MikeColwell
      @MikeColwell  2 года назад

      Yes put several spots of super glue on the rubbers and fix them to the side panels. This makes re-fitting easy.

    Looking at a Royal Alloy but been told spares are hard to get. How reliable are they?

    • @MikeColwell
      @MikeColwell  3 года назад +1

      I've had a Gp125 and a Gp300 over the last three years and never had a single issue with either of them.
