Really neat, I wonder if the amp draw will be lower with the blades on, I know HVAC squirrel cage blowers draw less amps when they are attached to ducting.
@@dereksantiquefans5049 I had my Dayton set up on a solid-state 5 amp sterling switch, which I think ended up being faulty, it burned out today. Do you have any recommendations for a solid-state switch for this model fan? Like many of its era the original speed control has long since gone away.
@@RemoGuppy You can look for a KBWC-15K, I use them on many of my Emersons and Hunters. It has a 5A rating and an adjustable "floor" for the lowest speed.
Great job Derek, AFCA class of 1996 !
Can’t wait to see a video of it with it’s blades on.
Great work Derek! I can't wait to see the finished product!
Great job on the restoration! What a beast.

What kind of oil will you use?
Super Lube Multi-Use Synthetic Oil with Syncolon (PTFE) (ISO 100)
@@dereksantiquefans5049I’ve got mine hung and posted a short video on my channel! Copper and brass original finish.
