I was about to get a blackstone and then I went down the review/youtube rabbit hole. How are you liking it? Are you ok with the slightly smaller griddle size (than the 36in blackstone)? I've read that it gets really hot - does it do low temps well, e.g. for eggs? I'll probably pull the trigger if I can even a tiny bit more info
I've very happy with it. Both my parents and one of my good buddies has the 36" Blackstone and while I do like the larger surface area, I find the primate easier to cook on because the heat is more even, less hot spots. Also gets hotter overall so you can sear steaks easier. The lowest you can go is about 350-375 and thats the lowest I need to do anyway. I guess if you really needed it to be cooler you could cycle the heat on and off but I don't really know why you'd need lower temps than that.
I would imagine you could put one side burner on low and cook eggs at the furthest side away from that burner, or simply turn it off and cook the eggs last as the griddle is cooling down.
What’s that spatula holder???
Awesome!!

It's freaking awesome. They're so well built that I went on to buy a Silverbac and a Mammoth!
Stop making me hungry. 😅
