Anyone buying the Realme phone is probably on the budget, means every single penny count. I feel Realme made a mistake of putting a bright AMOLED screen on the regular model, it is so good, you can skip the Pro and Pro plus.
Lets break this down.
Realme 10 received an AMOLED screen with 1000 nits of max brightness, Mediatek Helio G99, 50 megapixel camera and Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The step up which is the Realme 10 Pro, received an inferior LCD screen with only 680 nits max brightness which is half of the brightness the regular Realme have, Snapdragon 695 which is basically the same as Helio G99 and a higher resolution 108 megapixel. Both phones will pixel bin the image so they will output 12 megapixel.
And the most expensive Realme 10 Pro+ received an AMOLED screen with only 800 nits though advertised to get 1 billion, it wont be visible in the naked eye. It received Dimensity 1080 which will not be different than G99, same Mediatek processor but a bit faster, they removed the SD card, the headphone jack and I'm not sure if its Gorilla Glass.
This put the the more expensive models in an awkward position as you get more when you buy the regular Realme 10.

I agree that Helio G99 will do well on most part opening apps and multitasking.
This huge chin is nonsense, the realme x2 was 250 euro and had similar characteristics. Had 64 mpx wide + 8mpx ultrawide, had an headphone jack and a slim chin more pleasing than this one. It looks like the bottom and top frame of the 2018 Samsung s9. The realme x2 was released in 2019. We are in 2023 we are talking about 4 years ago.
it got a shitty mono speakers though.
I was about to buy the phone, because of the good battery life. Then I've seen that you only had 52% of battery left with only 2h25 of screen on time. The usual screen on time of your phone is only about 5 hours? Thank you in advance for your answer!
well it was an intensive use since I'm doing a review of the phone so I might be playing heavy games that time when I'm recording the video.

It's software and others and overall is good right. Will it perform well heavy gaming and what about the body .Will did get famed with drop or water etc

Yes its a good phone but there are other brands that offer better specs with lower price. I'm talking about Tecno and Infinix. Infinix actually promised to support most of their phones with software updates up to 2 years (not a lot but it's enough). Tecno is still deciding but some of their android 13 smartphones are already receiving android 14.
I own Realme 7 pro and my screen has cracked . . Should I upgrade to Realme 10 or just fix the screen?
Well it depends, maybe fix you Realme 7 Pro, sell it, then upgrade to 10?

Yes. Got an update for android 13 then updated again after a few days. 5 updates in total.

@@GadgetRevNow the good thing about realme 8 is the 5G connectivity, in display finger print sensor. While the realme 10 is good at its design I love it so much the way that it's like an iPhone it's just good.

great question Helio G99 (Realme 10) will perform slightly better than Snapdragon 680 (Realme 9)! if your own Realme 9, its not worth it to upgrade.

Redmi Note 10 is using an older 11 nanometer Snapdragon 678. It doesn't have higher refresh rate and if you buy it used, battery won't be as good now. Safest to go for Realme 10.
