They've talked about how Mitch is so humble and Scott is (jokingly) not. But I want to give credit where it's due... Yes Scott has an aura of confidence and self-direction.. But being humble doesn't mean you don't believe in yourself or let yourself shine. It means you do so with grace, and without putting others down- you instead are secure enough to shine your light onto others! Scott never puts anyone down, no matter how odd or new. Anything or anyone he sees trying to be creative, he has a compliment to give- he's always looking for and openly acknowledging the good in others. AND, he is ALWAYS supporting those around him. He lifts Mitch up more than any friend I've ever seen, and makes no facade to hide his appreciation, because he knows it takes nothing from him to give encouragement to others. He's a leader, and a fantastic friend, and a beautiful, empathetic, talented, considerate, motivated, intelligent, grounded and humble person, who also believes in himself and clearly loves what he does :) I respect him greatly!

I remember when they first came onto the Sing Off as just a small a capella group, then they proceeded to blow everyone away and we all cheered when they won. Look at them now! They just released an EP apart from their group and I'm sure it's already doing amazingly well. They've come so far from just being a small highschool a capella group!

I utterly loved Pentatonix, being a 50 year old full time musician the level of musicality and just incredible talent in the "group" was astonishing but I've always loved Scott's voice and then the incredible falsettos of Mitch - this is just such a great new venture but hopefully not the end of Pentatonix..

If we continue pointing out and applauding this inclusion then it will never become a norm. (No hate, I just want to share what I believe is right!)
No hate because I totally see your good intentions, but I like to think on the opposite side of the coin. It's always better to signal these things as being really cool because diversity is something to celebrate! and we don't see it happen as often as we should. Celebrating inclusion works to the same effect as criticizing bad representation, and it keeps content creators in check :)
