Rang Neils manager at the time a few months later. His reponse was, " We resented the fact that you had a Soundalike on the song" ... You just cant please some people!!!

I liked your mix of stumblin in... but this is disappointing..it just kinda drops into the original song and then the rest is kinda off key (some notes clash you added with the original song) . The rhythm you added kinda sucked the energy out of it. Went from upbeat fun to more lounge. Yes I have 45 years of musical experience recording and Dj.
If you paid attention to when he did Sweet Caroline and when he did Stumblin In, you would have appreciated how much he’s grown as a producer. 45 years experience and you can’t recognise growth? Go ask for a refund 👏
