Just be yourself and never throw an opportunity away! Try talking to the person you sit next to in class. If you want to keep a group just always keep in close contact to them. If they seem to slip away there’s no use in trying to save it. Some other ways is just being super friendly and if your shy just just help someone with the little things like picking up there pencils if they drop them. Try to find people that have the same interests as you. I've been into sports my whole life so naturally I'm friends with lots of boys who also play sports.
Be urself, be confident but also dont try to really be in a friend group. Im friends with at least two people in a different friend group in my school and it works really well!
