Gundagai, yeah! I saw Rick in my home state of Missouri in 1983 and now I'm a New South Welshman. Will never view Gundagai the same again. Dog on a Tucker Box has new meaning, but only he might know. Inter connecting paths is the story of my life. I drive through Guildford every other day (and wonder how such a spark got started in such an ordinary place)... Fan to the end. 💗🇺🇲🇦🇺

My very first concert ever was seeing Rick Springfield in 1983 at the then Universal Amphitheater at Universal Studios. My brother's were at the Love and Kickin' show in '82 available on YT.
I got to go to the Live and Kickin' show at Universal Amphitheater in 1982: that was the best concert of my life.

@@lorag4581 Haha, not quite. I was a 12-13 yr old boy, I wasn't much for soap operas, but nevertheless, I did like all of his first 4 albums.
@@rong805, I understand! I did, however, have a male cousin that had quite the crush on RS. And I agree: I thought his first four albums were great, but I kind of lost track of him after that.
Rick is one of the most underrated musicians ever, his lyrics in particular..such an eloquent man. My first concert at 17, the Queen Mary in Long Beach 1981 featured The Beach Boys, Jan & Dean, Pablo Cruise, Three Dog Night and Rick (I went to see Rick, who stole the show). He's gone about his career with such grace, never complained about his image, whined about the big hits that put him on the map like so many artists do, and he never tried to recreate himself to be more "marketable". he's always just been Rick doing Rick which makes him such a rare breed of cat. God Bless my friend, and thanks for the music.

It's so inspiring to see any man live with such passion, you're a poster child for a life lived so well, never compromised. Even my 16 year old son is a fan as I taught him "what's beautiful to you is all that ever matters" (he digs "Souls" like his Poppa). You keep swinging my friend...even got me teaching myself acoustic guitar at 59 (-;/ God Bless Brother.

Rick Springfield is a fantastic singer and songwriter forever! I will be listening to the interview with Rick Springfield very soon! He is my biggest rock star singer forever! Im glad you was able to come back from nam somewhat unscathed. My dad and uncle were there along the mekong delta. My dad came back he's overall ok but he has the moments where he gets caught off guard like you said a car backfires or something. My uncle and his buddy weren't so lucky. My uncle was hit by a bouncing betty his left side is gone from elbow and above the knee down his buddy however didn't make it. It's good to hear your life.. you re a good man Chuck haha. I hope you got that reference if not search charlie brown 😂. You're all apples Rick. Brewer told me about the Oz tour. Damn covid is fucking that trip home up. I grew up on zoot and you doing a reunion tour and this covid still going here... I am so worried I am not gonna be able to see the tour which is my life dream. Russell Morris is a great Singer Daz would be happy but God I don't wanna miss that tour. I done chucked a 2 week sickie for that trip and now I may miss it.

Rick Handsome as always
I have been a Rick Springfield fan since I was 14 yrs old. I am now almost 50 (in 9 months) and I love him just as much. Rick always makes great music. I can't wait to see what he does next. I can't wait till we can go to concerts again I live in New Jersey So I can see him at the Meadowlands, PNC, or even in Atlantic City, I'm waiting w/ my converse. :)

A while back about 2 1/2 years ago I would say, I was praying and the Lord asked me to, while I was in the shower, look up Rick Springfield. I haven’t really listened to Rick Springfield since success hasn’t spoiled me yet. On eight track. So I looked up Rick Springfield. To my surprise and amazement, the newest album released was, songs for the end of the world. Exactly what I was asking the Lord about. There’s a testimony here I hope somebody realizes that the Lord is speaking directly. This is the time of the end. The fullness of time has come and now Daniels time of trouble is upon us.

So glad I've seen Rick so many times doing "Human Touch". There is no way at his age (even after Covid) that he will ever be able to interact with us in the audience like he used to.
Ordered mine. Ok Rick the part when you said the kids didn't have frets. Who was the kid that challenged you on that? I was like hahah go kid!!! That would've been me back in my h.s. days. I was always challenging things. One of my teachers got pissed off cos I challenged his information. I was right all I told him was if you're gonna be a teacher you should know the dates and time period you are talking about.. I was suspended for being " disagreeable". You gotta challenge things or else you'll never know what you can do
