I agree, but sometimes it's cool to throw the outfit off a little bit with a pair of comfy sneakers in order to give it a little more edge and to make your feet happily comfortable.

I don't think it is cool, you will never see a clasy gentleman wearing air max shoes on his tailored and expensive suit...and if you think loafers are uncomfortable then you sir don't own a pair of good loafers.
