Most practical car we've ever had, plenty of room no problem with head height in drivers seat or the back seats, lovely driving position. We had VW golf's for many years..mainly because the reviews were always so good! We'd never go back to the VW now.
My gf has just bought a Venga, and it's perfect for what she needs.,not everyone thrashes a car and treats it like a Ferrari....the Venga is a car that does what it says....is well priced and has lots fitted as standard..
I have been driving a 65plate 1.6L AT Venga for 9 months. It has everything to offer as an everyday car and a short family road trip car. It does not have an attractive look, but I can't complain.
Steven Jenkins I'm interested in getting one second hand. My concerns are : that some reviews say the ride is very stiff, some call it hard. And the 1.6 diesel is loud and rough, not very refined. Your thoughts on this would be very welcome.
I like the inside, but after driving it I found the steering to have little feedback, the suspension stiff and rattly, and the diesel engine to be loud, rough and under powered. I like the can, but not how it drives.
Overall, for what it's suppose to be, it's not bad. It's essentially an MPV that's disguising itself in the name of auto fashion. I respect Mat as a reviewer. but one complaint I have about him is that he doesn't often accept the car for what it's suppose to be. Jeff Glucker is notably more fair. A good example is with the Toyota Prius. Jeff explained that there's nothing sporty here. It's all about fuel economy. THEN, he explained that there is a different type of excitement when you see how far you're going and how little fuel you're using up. He said it's a different kind of enthusiasm, but it's certainly there.
The reviewer only looks fresh out of school and comes across as a bit of a prat. He expects a 1.4 diesel to be quick! Side winds affect all vehicles. A very biased and poor review.

Visitor from the future. It is 2022 and Mat has not aged a day.

How about noise level when you reach highway speeds?
@@ttinwelint Literally just bought one - it's quiet at 70mph (petrol auto).
I really miss small MPVs, It's much more practical compared to subcompact crossovers or even some crossovers.
True but as a lot of them werent that stylish most people didnt bother buying them
okay Mat you are getting freakishly good at these reviews = Awesome
i actually like the way the diesel engine sounds
In 1:55 , you don't put your palm inside the wheel Mat, it's so wrong to turn a steering wheel this way !!

The Venga bus is coming

Could not agree more
What is the Kia Venga in America? Do we even have it here?

Wish I still had mine it was a fantastic car and it’s a shame they aren’t producing the Venga anymore 😩
there is a posibility that the luggage trick was fake because there was a pause between 1:16 and 1:17. there was even a pause in his speech

Are the reclining back seats standard or just on certain models or years? So would it be on a 2011 model for instance?
Venga is not a looker, but it is spacious though
