Butler is much better hitter in ODi and T20 than Msd or any modern wicket keepers.He has finished so many games for England as well.He already scored so many centuries in less than 60 balls which MS Dhoni never did in life.It's a shame MS dhoni is constantly been said as the best finisher yet many matches he has played and not won for India.Whereas keepers like Butlers are always under rated as a player.

That what happens when God doesn't want someone to do a work. Feeling Sad for *JOE ROOT* , he was playing patiently today, leaving the offside balls and patiently trying to set himself but then that run out happened.
The impact itself was on off and middle. Also, Pope was well forward in his defence and hence the ball had more distance to travel. With a little bit of spin, getting an LBW for an off spinner from over the wicket on a forward defensive shot is very difficult unless the impact is right on the off stump. Had it struck him on backfoot, it would have been very close.

two things west indies need to do ASAP- first thing is they need to improve their fielding both ground and catching and field well consistently and they need to bat with patience on most occasions it is not just flair and flamboyance which matters but more than that it is temperament, technique , grit and determination to play for long which matters most and they need this aspect most if they are going to become a force to reckon with, as of now they look to have a decent settled side with a good captain.
This is like the most anti-west Indies side I've seen with the bat. Braithwaite, Hope, Chase all have the ability to bat long and can bat long. Brooks, Blackwood are the run getters. I have yet to see Holder, Dowrich do anything with the bat so if they can contribute the batting line-up looks solid
Dowrich has been OK. It is very challenging to keep wickets in English conditions where the ball seams away late after going past the batsman. Rishabh Pant also struggled in 2018 series. Shai Hope is already having a rough patch in Test cricket so no point in burdening him with wicket keeping duties.
