These are tracks from the universe when everything was cubic, until one day, someone doing _something_ was like "round things are pretty cool, let's do more of that in the next one"
I've been playing on the same world with my sons for 580 in-game days, our farm and massive homestead is done, and now we're on to our fishing market. The memories we've made in this digital world are going to be something we can look back on 10 years from now and laugh about. I love it so much. Thank you, Minecraft.
@synhi i remember the first time i played Minecraft on my Xbox 360 i spawned in a spruce forest killed a cow then dug straight down back when cow tipper was still an acheivment
you may notice in the video that after 20 minutes a wandering trader appears. 20 minutes it's literally the time it takes for a wandering trader to spawn in game. I really love this relaxing video also beacuse of these small details. Thank you.
Finding out that Andrew Prahlow composed the music made me emotional. It carries the Outer Wilds feel while also being distinctly Minecraft. Two of my favorite comfort games mashed into one. Absolutely beautiful music 💖💖💖
Whoever did the first track knew exactly what they were doing, channeling Outer Wilds with an ALMOST Timber Hearth riff with the banjo at 0:51and spacey heavily distorted guitars in the background, I lost it when I heard it EDIT: ITS ANDREW PRAHLOW, OF COURSE IT IS
@Enray11my headcanon is that this was just a universe where everything was cubic, until one day everything was remade, with the concept of things being more than just cubes, round.
Started playing 2 months ago after stopping sometime in 2021. For the very first time, I played Minecraft with friends, and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time.
The true Minecraft player its not depends in your friends, some other people love Playing Minecraft its better playing alone than having friends, and I don't know why
@rierz_yes The person who made these mixes; he's most well-known at this point for being the artist behind the Outer Wilds soundtrack. It's a game about exploring a hand-crafted solar system to uncover secrets of the past while time is looping every 22 minutes. It also happens to have a banging OST :3
When I first heard a snippet of this on Twitter: Hmm, the banjo reminds me a bit of Outer Wilds... You can imagine my reaction when I found out it's composed by Andrew Prahlow himself. An unexpected crossover for sure. (For those who don't know, Andrew composed the music of Outer Wilds, arguably the most profound singleplayer gaming experience of my life, and it probably has the best ambient music I've heard since discovering C418. I can only recommend giving it a try, ideally knowing as little as possible.)
i heard the banjo and thought it reminded me of outer wilds, that's cool to hear! i haven't actually found the time to play outer wilds yet, but i love the music. hopefully when life gets less busy i can finally play the game
My head-canon theory is that the vibrant visuals were the first step in finally giving us a legitimate smooth texture pack to emulate the trailers. Thankfully, we have Bare Bones to fill the void.
@zachhigherfructose8552 unfortunately no, because in vibrant visuals there are pixel shadows, and in trailers and cinematics there are normal smooth shadows
Let’s go back. Not just to the game but to the feeling. Do you remember the first time you spawned into a brand new world? The way the landscape stretched before you, rolling green hills, towering mountains, endless oceans, all untouched, all waiting for you to shape them? There was something magical about those first moments before you knew all the mechanics before you memorized crafting recipes when everything felt vast and mysterious. The sun was high in the sky, the soft piano melodies of C418’s soundtrack drifting through the air, and for a brief moment, the world was peaceful. You didn’t rush. You just existed, watching the pixelated clouds drift, listening to the gentle rustle of leaves. Maybe you chased after a sheep, maybe you dug straight down (only to learn why that’s a bad idea). And then night came. The first time the sky darkened, it wasn’t just a shift in lighting, it was a shift in mood. The world, once so open and safe, became something else entirely. Shadows moved, glowing eyes flickered in the dark. The first time you heard the ssssss of a creeper sneaking up behind you, the first time a skeleton’s arrow struck from the darkness, you felt real fear. You scrambled to dig into a hillside or hurriedly built a crude shelter, praying you could outlast the night. But over time, you became stronger. You built homes, maybe at first a simple wooden box but later a towering castle, an underground fortress, a floating island in the sky. You explored caves, deep and winding, torches in hand as the eerie echoes of distant mobs made your heart pound. You felt that rush when you uncovered diamonds for the first time, that yes, finally! moment as the blue gems glowed beneath your pickaxe. And do you remember the little things? The way the rain pattered softly, the way the sun set behind the blocky mountains, the feeling of safety when you finally had a warm house with a bed inside? The excitement of taming your first wolf, of riding your first horse, of getting lost in an endless adventure? Maybe you played with friends. Maybe you built entire worlds together, your voices carrying across the night as you crafted something bigger than yourselves. Maybe you fought, maybe you pranked each other, maybe you built something stupidly massive just because you could. And maybe, just maybe, you remember the laughter. And then, one day, you logged off. Maybe life got busy. Maybe new games came along. Maybe you just drifted away. But somewhere, deep in the code of an old world save, your torches are still burning. Your house is still standing. Your pets are still waiting. And if you listen closely, you can still hear the soft, distant music playing in the background, inviting you home. Because Minecraft never really leaves you. It’s a time, a place, a feeling. And no matter how much time passes, you can always return. And when you do… it’ll be like you never left.
This isn’t just a farm - it’s a whole vibe. The ambient music and peaceful scenery made me forget my real-life for a moment. More of this cozy content, please!
This song is familiar, and it is a joy to be a part of it... "There's our pilot! Back from your pre-launch campout under the stars, I see. So it's Launch Day, eh? Andrew Prahlow's work is a gift to the world. I would absolutely love to have some original pieces like this from him in the game, clearly it works amazingly well. You will be in for one of the most profoundly beautiful experiences in gaming, and Prahlow's work in it is a huge contributor to that sentiment. I hope this comment at least gives someone a chance to find their new favorite game
@blitzboy2934 I've seen so many people finish the game in tears, watch the full credits, and get back to the main menu only for that banjo starting as the fire ignites to get them weepy all over again. It's SO POWERFUL.
The pieces felt deeply familiar to me, like home. Then I found out they were by Andrew Prahlow-the one who made the music of Outer Wilds. That game meant everything to me. It was the one my late brother and I used to play, used to talk about all the time. He especially loved the music. His favorite was 14.3 Billion Years. Lately, I’ve been avoiding the Outer Wilds OST. It hurts. I remember him vividly with every piece. I miss him so much. But somehow, Andrew Prahlow still found his way to me-like my brother was reaching out through the music. As if he wanted me to remember the sound we loved.
@rierz_yes a quick little google search would've told you lol. He's a music composer, as the comment mentions he made this music as well as the bgm of outer wilds.
Thank you for understanding the community outside just the gameplay, nothing makes me feel more relaxed than the ambience of my favorite game and I hope to see many more in the future.
I think my favorite part about Minecraft isn’t the fact it is a big community, but it is people who come together for a common purpose, a people who use their time to spend time with friends, family, and strangers from all across the world just to show their creativity, love, and cultures. Minecraft isn’t just nostalgic, it’s important. It’s a foundation of many people’s lives. It’s built my childhood and made me love nature and even geology. The millions, even billions of people who have played Minecraft are Minecraft itself. You cannot have Minecraft without the people who make it what it is. That is why Minecraft is my favorite game. This is what makes Minecraft Minecraft.
What I love about minecraft is that it let's you forget of all the problems and anxiety that you have in your life for a little while, and the feeling that no matter what happens you always have a place to come back to and just relax and enjoy
I feel like stuff like this can bring the community together. Java, bedrock, don't matter. It's all Minecraft. This game is nearly as old as I am, yet I still remember watching Tobuscus play back in the day. Great times. I love this game, and I wouldn't be who I am now without it. Thank you Minecraft, I look forward for the years to come.
It's so peaceful I wish I could actually live in a real Minecraft world. I can escape from all the stress and live a happy farmer watching the sun rise and sun set.❤
I grew up on a farm and I used to play Minecraft with my sisters a lot. This playlist makes me feel at home :,D 8:01 this meow right here sounds exactly like my dead cat... Every time I heart it, my heart shatters. It's been nearly 2 months since he died. I still cry for him every night. He was my best friend 💛...
Why would you not expect it to have sequels or even different movies about the same thing in a different style? Sounds like you just disliked Jack Black and Jason Mamoa's broship
When you realize the music here is composed by the same person who made the music for Outer Wilds, everything makes sense. Thank you Minecraft, thank you Andrew. And thank you Nate, I enjoy your content's pretty cool 😎
Minecraft is the best game ever, really hard to not think so especially since it's been there for half of my life, it's so relaxing and soothing. it's a comfort game when I am sad and not okay, if all things fail, I still have Minecraft.
I love the faint notes of leitmotifs that were in outer wilds, especially at the start of comforting memories and creator, immediatly hooked me. thank you, andrew.
What I wouldn't give to live in such a place with that music on repeat. It would be my version of heaven :) I can see us roasting marshmellows by that fire while throwing some feed to the chickens later we would go inside and relax maybe do some crafting or stay outside and fish but either way... A "Beautiful" day for sure.
I love these relaxation and ambiance videos. They are so soothing in the background when I'm writing. This is will probably be one of my favorites. Love a cozy Minecarft farm!
I just recently discovered that Minecraft does amazing Lofi type stuff.. I LOVE IT!!! Please don't stop making these! Also, love the little eggs floating around. Such great detail!
The original c418 music was already great, but this Andrew Prahlow remix just emphasises tenfold what I feel about this game. Ever since my childhood I have been playing this game to switch off and I am willing to bet that I will still be doing that for the next twenty years.
Hearing the first track I started tearing up, and couldn't quite point to why that was. About fifteen minutes in I noticed Andrew Prahlow being credited in the timestamps and it clicked. Funny how some part of me noticed and remembered some of the emotions from oh so lang ago, before I could even piece together what I was feeling and why... Gotta love what music can do
Something that has always astonished me in movies is how predators values getting a meal (or in this, a small snack) over their own lives. Realistically, the rexes would have wanted to avoid conflict against King Kong even in a 3v1, not to mention 1v1 as the last rex did."
They could've added one more 2 minute song to do the funniest Deep Cut. Love hearing Outer Wilds subtly echo through the songs too. It's admittedly making me cry because it's like the story living on in a whole new world.
Dear Mojang Team, As a player who has been following the Minecraft world with pleasure for years, I would like to make a suggestion to you. In future updates, I would like to see wild animals such as bears, tigers, lions and snakes added to the game. The natural presence of these animals in special areas compatible with their natural habitats (such as caves for bears, forests for tigers, savannas for lions and deserts or swamps for snakes) will further enrich the game's ecosystem. In addition, each animal's unique behavior and interaction systems can make the Minecraft experience more realistic and impressive. I would be very happy if you consider this suggestion. Thank you for constantly improving the game and valuing the ideas of us players. Best regards, Kahndaq6
I LOVE THESE AMBIANCES THANKS MINECRAFT!
Agreed
same
We need more c418 tho
CHICKEN JOCKEY
@kreekkrap c418 is awesome
Andrew Prahlow my absolute goat, I can’t believe he got to work with minecraft. This is amazing
✅
For real. Even though it's Minecraft, you can still sense that big Outer Wilds energy simply because of his style.
I can't believe Minecraft got to work with HIM!
I KNEW IT REMINDED ME OF OUTER WILDS!!!
😂@Roaster-12345
First track makes me feel like I’m back in the Outer Wilds, drifting off in space
i mean, these ARE made by andrew prahlow. it's great.
Its the same composer as outer wilds!

I could feel the outer wilds before even checking who made it. Andrew Prahlow mixed with minecraft's ost is a match made in heaven
My favorite minecraft music is the "Infinite Amethyst" . One of the most beautiful masterpiece I have ever heard .
If only the Minecraft movie was animated like this… maybe in another universe.

Love the random panda spawn egg lol
i think it's a creeper spawn egg
edit: nvm i see the panda one as well, there's both
Feels like I just got a brand new sequel to the Outer Wilds OST, and I'm cryin
Mojang didn't have to do this. They could've charged us for this video. But they didn't. This is the side of Mojang that I love
Why would they do that? Mojang would never do such a thing unless M*crosoft forces them to.

These amazing songs reminded me of Outer Wilds and I was also so happy to see that they are also made by Andrew Prahlow! Thank you for these tracks!!!

Big Outer Wilds vibes with that bonjo, love it
It’s funny you say that, these songs are by Andrew Prahlow, the Outer Wilds composer!
Mutton
This first track reminds me so much of Outer Wilds’ Timber Hearth! So cozy!
yeaaaah finally a com about outer wilds, i get this feeling too !
Same, I swear its a rendition of it or something it's uncanny
It's probably based on one of the minecraft tracks but I can't place which one
Was literally just thinking that, I love it so much
Well... Andrew Prahlow the composer of that track is also the person that remixed the songs on this video! So that might be why it sounds familiar.
@AllOutJay seriousely ? So cool ! Where did you find the information?
Cow never left the pen despite there being a way to escape. Truly a legend.
So blessed to hear Andrew Prahlow’s work again.
I love the faint notes of leitmotifs that were in outer wilds, especially at the start of comforting memories and creator, immediatly hooked me.
thank you, andrew.
this is perfect for when I go to sleep I'm gonna listen to this when I go to sleep 0:22

Loooove this. It will be what i fall asleep to now. Thank you Mojang and artists, infinite amethyst is my absolute fav, here and in game🙏💚💯🔥👏
17:03 Creator western version.
THAT's ABSOLUTLY EPIC ! I LOVE IT SO MUCH
That acoustic guitar... it's just...
Perfect 🤌
Thank you Minecraft. Please do this more often! I needed this today.....
That would be a great addition to the Home Screen of Minecraft
Definitely, and even in-game music for when you’re playing in a Minecraft world

"Somehow this track made the day feel softer."
I listen to these videos every time I do my math work. I especially love the Minecraft Lofi music.
i just remembered why i used to love minecraft soo much. thank you
Coming home from stressing work, getting notification of this and now just sitting here. Thank You
The Outer Wilds band has once again assembled

Agreed
I’m back from 5 min I got 20 likes before gta6
Very relaxing! Thanks Minecraft!
Ahhh, the true reason fireflies were added, thank you for this.
Minecraft, you're a real one for providing this.
Nice name :D
WE MAKING IT TO THE EYE OF THE UNIVERSE WITH THIS ONE!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Edit: 0:50 don't think we didn't notice that little motif there, Andrew :3
I wish we had that music for the main menu, it's relaxing and warm.
Thank you minecraft. We need more of this
They could've added one more 2 minute song to do the funniest Deep Cut. Love hearing Outer Wilds subtly echo through the songs too. It's admittedly making me cry because it's like the story living on in a whole new world.
I listen to these every time I livestream, please keep them coming!
No way this was made by the same guy who composed Outer Wilds ost
I have a sinus infection and im in bed rn so thank you mc i needed this today
Breathtaking, Beautiful Music
Minecraft is the best game i have ever played ❤
Relaxing music 😌
I love how they move the clouds like the Minecraft Story Mode S1 menu 0:26
Imagine you playing with your friends and spending night with this music and fireflies...
Finally something I could sleep too in Vrc
This is the best morning Ive had in weeks bless you Minecraft

Thank you Minecraft and Andrew Prahlow, this is exactly what I needed
Dear Mojang Team,
As a player who has been following the Minecraft world with pleasure for years, I would like to make a suggestion to you.
Best regards,
Kahndaq6
Thanks for the ambiance sounds now I can have a great nap😊
Minecraft Is Beautiful
程良くBGMがあり、モブの声もあってすごく落ち着きます。作業用にぴったりです。ありがとうございます!
またこういうものを作ってほしいです😌

petition to let us own a similar graphical pack.
It's Bare Bones actually!
@Reiginblast ikr! but what i am looking for is a Graphical preset to make the game feel and look alive just like the trailers.
