I had pile number 2 and it was so spot on.
I met a guy at my summerjob and we worked together. He worked there fulltime, I worked there during my schoolbreaks as a student. We instantly got a great connection but I was not in the right headspace and had a lot to figure out still. I also noticed that he was balding so he was older than I expected and I let go of those thoughts of him being someone for me quickly. I kept in mind that his personality could be what I wanted in a partner and I felt safe around him. But I didn't have feelings for him at all. I kept coming back to work every schoolbreak for two years but we didn't work together anymore but saw each other at work sometimes. In those two years I had therapy to heal from childhood trauma. I'm now doing much better and feel like I'm finally in peace with who I am.
At the end of summer this year, a few days away from starting a real job after graduating college and he asked me out. I was shocked because I had barely talked to him for those two years. It really came out of nowhere for me. I didn't know he was interested in me like that. I rejected him nicely because it turns out he's 10 years older than me. But ever since then I can't stop thinking about him. I'm doubting if I made the right decision because something clicked in my brain like the lightbulb you said.
I'm now a teacher so I'm still having schoolbreaks and I'm going back to the workplace in a few weeks and I'll see him again. We'll see what happens.

Wow. Picked #1. Wasn’t what I was expecting but it was all accurate. I wanted to meet my soulmate much earlier in life, tried all types of healing modalities, took courses on healing, went to all kinds of therapies, tried meditation, joined spiritual groups all in hopes of healing enough to meet the one but still did not, it turns out it was always about divine timing. This is actually insane. I picked pile number two and everything made sense. I just recently started dating my boyfriend and i’ve never been in such a healthy relationship. We actually met two years ago and were with other people, he always had a small crush on me but i never paid attention to him.
