Superb! The Lexicon of Love parts 1 and 2 are just great pop albums with the highest of production values, beautifully orchestrated tunes, fantastic lyrics and Martin Fry's soaring voice. Amazing that the two albums are 35 years apart!
And this is how the world would have sounded if time had stopped in 1982 forever. A superb return to form!

This is simply a world class comeback. Absolutely brilliant. Martin has invented the timemachine. Captain Fry is taking us all back some 34 years ago to the new romantic era. This song picks up where The look of Love has left..We have all been waiting for this. Thank you so much. By the way Martin, I have a great idea. You guys including the amazing Sinfonians and the wonderful Mrs. Dudley, should consider coming to Denmark and perform at the National Opera House in Copenhagen. The Pet Shop Boys are actually performing to shows in December. The venue is beautiful and the acoustic design together with the music of ABC - is a match made in heaven😄

Having been fans of ABC when we were younger in the 80s, we were excited to see ABC were back, and we weren't disappointed. We love this!
I bought me a month ago the Lexicon of Love Part 2 and I am really astonished that I missed the release - the music is so gerat and gets me back in imagination to the 80s - look of love is back - still luckily in 2022

Lots of bands come back decades later with new material that doesn't really match their earlier stuff. ABC have bucked that trend. This is a great song and seems to build on the original stuff.

It’s interesting to think that the parents of the two protagonists (the girl and the boy) were also teenagers in 1982, or maybe even kids. Wonderful song, I, a child of that age and a former new wave musician (I was born in 1964) really enjoyed it.
Sheer brilliance shines like a diamond .... and 'Viva Love' is a gem ;)
Unlike most delayed sequels Lexicon 2 is a natural successor -beautiful lavish pop, clever lyrical lines, moving melodies and that ABC groove-Another Classic 34 years on.

Insane! I was listening to the Lexicon earlier this week and it still sounds fantastic, thanks to great songs and Trevor Horns excellent production. It's a timeless classic that always stirs emotion. I thought I was imagining things when I saw Lexicon II in a store today!
