- One of the neighborhoods evacuated during the Knolls Fire is grateful for one quick-thinking neighbor who took it upon himself to make sure the flames didn't get any closer.
That man is one good man. Bless him and is family. A true hero right there.
A nice story in this time of madness. Kudos to the guy for thinking of and putting a plan into action.

Yes. We also need to be more like him and try to help whenever we can. It's the small acts that get the ball rolling. This are difficult times and we all can be there for each other.

With all the bad going on around us, what a kind & giving man to think of all his neighbors & friends before himself!! Such a humble man. Sure wish ALL of us could be more like Robert!! And how nice of his friends & neighbors to pay his mortgage payment for him!! Wish I lived in your neighborhood!! So many have lost track of what really MATTERS in our lives!! Hoping we ALL can step up & help others who truly need our help.

That’s what it takes sometimes self initiative and not selfishness it’s what saved part of a town just right after the paradise fire just happens to be a bulldozer and the fire was moving but not fast and a neighborhood hoodlum jumped in the car hit wired it and cut a fire line then went to the store and gassed it and went back out again after it was realized a few other neighbors brought gas and started running irrigation water .. the kids still a hoodlum but he saved 400 + houses on that side of the hill

Could someone explain to me what he exactly did with the bulldozer to get rid of the fire? My English is not the best, sorry!
He cleared up the dead weeds, trees & brush thats easily flammable so the fire wouldnt spread to the homes

It like a dirt road between the houses and field he cleared the brush so it wouldn’t burn the homes another thing that helps is not having trees next to house in California they went up in flames because the trees and also green grass stops fires as well as long it’s taken care of but the city is supposed to provide safety for homes close to danger of fires in areas.
I had a fire line growing up and had fires in field too
