Surprisingly though, this tribe seemed a lot more committed than the rest, and they stayed around for quite a while! We also ran into a bit of trouble outside our base afterwards...

You are on of the cleanist Ark player. Take for example Monkey or KHz, 2 bobs who used or are still cheaters. Yes Disconnecting is not cheating but it still shady.
I think you should do the internet scouting since they will 100% do that to you! and besides that is arks fault that it works.
Most of them probably have wallhacks anyway, if not more 😅
Unplugging your internet to go walk around an enemy base in order to scout is 100% cheating. But that being said if everyone is able to use it and there’s zero rules against it (not sure how you’d monitor that anyway) then go for it

I really dislike the disconnect internet strat but this is a competitive game and there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to do it if other people are going to
With the internet thing I feel like thats a bit cheezy it may not be enough to be cheating but on cirtain survers it will be scouting a fob is one thing but full on going into someone's cave looking at everything they got is a bit too much

I personally don’t mind you doing it… but I’d personally prefer it if you didn’t do it one tribes who aren’t fighting you and being annoying. Like doing in on UGANDA YOU KNOW to me would be fine but finding a random Juicy base and disconnect bugging to see their base to me seems a bit off. Vice verse I also don’t mind you doing it when in duo tribes or solo wipes as it’s a scenario where every advantage can provide a better viewing experience. Any bigger tribes I would use it as a last resort or a way to really get back at annoying tribes😊

Desyncing is dirty. I don't condone it but it's ark and you either join the dark side or you're at a massive disadvantage. I would personally never do it but I understand why everyone does. It's pretty much in the same league as duping. Just because I don't do it doesn't mean 90% of tribes won't.
Its not dirty, it dosent give THAT big of an advantage i feel like, especially when compared to real cheats which many use

They're both bad game breaking exploits that everyone does because they have to. They're legit the same thing in theory.
I like that you showed the disconnect internet thing, its something I never would have known about and others probably use it all the time. If it's in the game its fair play.
Don't go offline and scout bases it's like meshing still sneaky I like your content most of the time don't stoop to a glitch player. True feelings mate. Keep it up though

disconnect is fine, like come on u can do the same thing in new ark ascended without disconnecting ur internet and u can even fly through structures with this option(i am talking about photo mode)
I think you didn’t find the base because they raided you 2 times and back up and left both times the second you got leverage so they probably did that again

Its kinda annoying how this cave entrance works as a choke for both sides. Pushing out of the cave if you dont have tp somewhere outside is kinda meh. Interesting spot, but personally I think its a bit of a nightmare, especially since enemy can snipe your dinos too. But well done defending the cave over and over, you guys doing well.

Could still blow up their pearl cave, just to annoy em. You wont gain much of anything but it´ll prob take like 5 Carbos and a Stego and you could run that with a tek riffle, as a little side-quest.

Isn´t theyre forcefield completly useless because you can just destroy it from below the terminalplatform and then push the enemy fob with stego and tekrex would be an easy way to wipe every fob that is build like that no ?

Everyone saying that desyncing is part of the gane or that everyone can do it so its fine must think meshing is fine too because everyone can do it and it has never been patched out desyncing gives a huge advantage in intel to build your strategy and to see any traps in the base such as internals
you can kmode just as well but yeah
