Must thank professor 文 for telling us that jazz music is related to the need for freedom, there are movies on Netflix on musicians like Miles Davies, Quincy Jones and Bob Dylan which I intend to watch, now I can try to understand jazz from the angle of freedom. I must also watch nomadland because growing up in the 70's, I was always under the impression that 流浪 is very 有型的， it was popularised by people such as Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and the Taiwanese writer 三毛 (Echo Chen Ping), clearly there are more to 流浪 than I thought.
Fern also said her old house's has a large backyard , you can see a very long grassland and all the way to the mountain far away , and at almost the end of the movie the director showed us that old house and her backyard, but Fern even choose to leave the house and stay in her van which she can look at the car's window every morning and have the backyard so big as the whole wilderness

謝謝兩位分析，很想聼《浪跡天地》對比當年有本很重要的書《旅途上/on the road》的分析。很多人不大瞭解美國，但我覺得這書和這電影有很大的關聯。當年的小青年到今天就是那些浪跡的老人。
