rule of thumb never eq based on only one position, which is what you did i guess. you must observe the "trend" of the room by averaging. chances are that bump is flat at some other position. you should average three to four locations to eq
I did average out at first only to have the avg graph of each speaker .. later I was just matching my avg graph with single positions. Before that just ensured every speaker are running at a preset that suits the venue
