    Such a gorgeous idea. I'm building a 77 "RS inspired" mach 1 with a 2.3 Ecoboost. My personal mustang II rally car

      I kicked that idea around a while before doing the coyote swap, you can find them and do the swap relatively inexpensively. I also thought about doing the 3.5 EB swap because that would be badass as well. Lemme know how that ends up working out, I'm genuinely interested what would go into that.

      @@dugganracecraft I was supposed to be going into the Marines in 1975. Was told I had a waiver for my eyes by the recruiter. I wanted to have a new car (first new car ever) waiting when I got out of boot camp. So, I first went to our FORD dealer and there was a beautiful 1975 red V8 Mach I. I told the salesman I didn't want to screw around and give me the very best price on the car. I then went to the Chevy dealer and got a price for a 1975 Red RS Camaro. They beat the FORD price, so like a dumb 18-year-old, I bought the Camaro to save a few bucks. A week later the FORD salesman called about the Mach, I told him I bought the Camaro. He said why didn't I come back to deal, as he could have beaten their price. (Which I had told him) And I just told him, I wanted the best price the first time, and that was it.
      Not having to say it, I hated the Camaro, which I was stuck with, as the recruiter had lied and there was no waiver. That made it all even worse! That's life though!

    I like the Trans Am style painted hoods of the King Cobra.
    Good thin it nobody really want them, everyone is all about the 1966 and 67 more than anything.

    Well I have a King Cobra with 6 valves per cylinder! Teflon coated valves, see if you can top that? ( yes I'm totally joking, and you can't hear the voice that I do, but it's funny) I actually knew a guy that thought everything that they had was better, cause it was " teflon coated"! King Cobras are actually my most favorite car, I did own an authentic King Cobra, along with a white, and red Cobra II, a 77 Mach 1, 76 hatchback, and a 1978 Coupe. The Coupe was black, and never had the lame trim, let alone those " Ghia" windows. Since I know how to polish any metal, my whole intake manifold, and carburetor, alternator etc. Made the black paint look really great, where I wasn't able to polish, I got brass plated, and I'd keep my hood off showing all that shiny polished aluminum, and brass! Super awesome, and " PRO" car, I'd like to say that I'm jealous, but it's totally not the word, I'm ecstatic that other people love Mustang II'S also. Have a great day, with respect. Wes Sept

    That thing is going to be badass with a Coyote, and it cracked me up when you said you were going 130 allegedly like you were really just going with the flow of traffic @55mph right after a long church service that you just attended 😂🤣😂 I skipped all of the pinto jokes by just buying a pinto and putting a 11.5:1 347 in it with a t5 so if they can't catch me then they don't have to worry about getting blown up by my fuel tank, its a mustang ll tank and 10 gallons will fill it up but couldn't beat it for 30 bucks "used" off of Amazon delivered, originally 300 something bucks and it never had a drop of gas in it nor be installed so that was a smoking deal

      I grew up in Waterloo (I affectionately renamed it Waterhole.... Lol), but at that time I was living near Kalona. Ran across the car while perusing the different Craigslists around the area. Was looking for a project to work on with my girlfriend at that time. I passed on the car just because I didn't have the money at that time to both buy it and work on it knowing how much it would take since I already owned my Cobra. Ended up with an 84 convertible which, coincidentally, I recently found another RUclips video on another car that guy had. I remember seeing different things on this car when you swapped in the 4.6 and wondering if it was the same car. Figured it probably was since there aren't that many IIs around those parts, much less Kings. I now live in Marietta Georgia, moved down here about 9 years ago.

    With all that RUclips money you'll make off of this video alone you could have just bought a new S550 and had fun with it 🤣😂🤣 I can't believe ppl are actually thinking that you are making a killing off of RUclips, Although you're videos are very good and full of information that most people doesn't know anything about and if you really got serious and put out at least 2 videos a week and direct your content towards blue collar builds you will blow up because there's more of us than the high dollar builds and the low buck builds will get the most builds because they are more relatable and you have plenty of knowledge about cars to do everything to them and motivate and teach the working man to build his stuff like you're working on and it will be more relatable

    • @dugganracecraft
      @dugganracecraft  2 года назад +2

      Thanks man, I really appreciate you saying that. I'm definitely going to start putting out content more regularly. A lot of things went into the long times in between videos this year, mainly time and money lol. But I started a really great job this last week which will obviously take up some time, but I'll have a steady income now which will definitely help keeping the build going. I'm really happy with my channels growth this year but I know that the main thing that limited me was upload schedule. RUclips punishes you pretty hard for not uploading regularly with how much it suggests your videos. But yeah, maybe I will get another S550 lol I didn't mention it in this video but the King Cobra was actually the reason I bought my orange S550, for the price that it was to do the coyote swap at the time (buying everything new) it was basically the same cost as just buying a new Mustang, so I bought a new one instead lol

    • @79beans347
      @79beans347 2 года назад

      @@dugganracecraft 😂🤣😂 I didn't know that u bought a new S550 just to do the swap in the mll but it makes sense because the yote stuff is really expensive and now you can have the drive train and make your money back on the rest of it. Congrats on the new job man, its hard to build these things without a good job because this crap is expensive and I would be scared to know how much I have put into my 347 pinto project but I was wanting bigger power this go around than my last 2 projects and I can most definitely feel it in my wallet but luckily I have a decent job that allows me to dump money on it every week, but I really enjoy what you do put out and at least for now you can enjoy RUclips as a hobby because when you do blow up your going to be busy trying to keep the videos pumped out . I noticed that RUclips pushes the hell out of the bigger channels because I normally comment at the end and if I don't pause it they will push that video out of the way to start one of their bigger channels. I actually enjoy the smaller channels more and normally try and help them out as much as possible. Thanks for the reply and keep the chevys out of the ford rangers 🤣😂🤣 i thought that was funny when you said that v8 swapped rangers were cool unless they have a Chevy in it 😂🤣 I busted out laughing and then said he thinks exactly the way i do , he has got to be a cool dude 😂🤣😂👍🏽 can't wait to see the next one

      Doing it with the AC may be tricky because of it's proximity to the frame rail, I originally was going to do a terminator swap but couldn't because the alternator was all over the frame rail which is why I ran that motor NA. At minimum, you’ll need to go aftermarket with the brakes because even with factory manual brakes in the factory location is very close.
