Tibetan music and music industry is in minority range as compared to other countries. The Artist and the musician get paid very much low as compared to other artist and musician due to low range of media coverage and recognition. We dont have any particular music industry though and also no any recognition globally. I hope someday there will be a day where our Tibetan artist would get global recognition and our Tibetan songs would be played on international mainstream. Our exile government must initiate some sort of award ceremony based on Tibetan Culture and music once a year and should be given respect and recognition to all the Tibetan artist that's the solution to maintain Tibetan hype of music and zeal within Tibetan youth . There are many true artist who spend their entire life on specific music and rendition not just covering others songs.......There is a lots of difference between Cover singer , Singer and Artist and Musician.......anyways ...with this note ..... There isn’t a music industry in exist but in Tibet I think the music ecosystem is good shape. I listen to songs from Tibet and the lyrics are much more richer and also these days you get to see lot of variety. There is hardly any new songs in exile nowadays that give me the chills like you, I think largely because of lack of incentive for talented people like you stated.
