The Quran dishonours his teachings, disbelieves the old testament prophets and attacks Christian beliefs, in what way could any of that be construed as love? It would be more loving if Jesus and the prophets were believed but they are only mentioned in the Quran to fool people.

What more blows my mind is this guy is willing to use the Islam teachings. To defend an argument of a Bishop that clearly is not have good attention. Is not very spiritually healthy thing to do. On top of that, I've seen so many times where people talk evil about another man. And this because they don't tend to look through the entire message of what the person was saying. Or they want something to be regardless of if it's even realistic. I don't know if this guy had good intentions and during this video. What I've seen from Mar Mari Emmanuel say a lot of what he says challenges the system. And points out the Hypocrisy Seen by many people. I am not shocked Mar Mari Emmanuel being persecuted.
So seeing this video I was like, well that was quick. Not Oh my goodness, look at these scandals. I suspect him to be persecuted. Because he's a more effective preacher of God than most preachers today. I won't be surprised if he winds up dead in a couple years, or Mar Mari Emmanuel put in a prison or a mental institution. Taken out of context. Mar Mari s always clear in telling people and directing them only to Jesus. To say otherwise is incorrect and slander. End of the day he has brought more people to christ through his services that have been put up on the net than most. Just read the comments on his videos. ALL positive and all life changing. I went to a couple of channels that post the Bishop's videos.
Theres a lot of his followers that speak respectfully, pray for him, and mention how they have come closer to christianity thanks to him, but theres also a lot of hateful people that specially show their hate for Islam, that Islam is evil, satanic, nothinf good comes from it. Where do these people get that from? I have seen a few "christian" preachers speak evil of other religions, but specially Islam.

He points at Jesus, not at himself. That is a valid point seen in many videos. I wonder if when he was talking about baby Jesus that way whether he was also imagining the mother Mary near at hand. That would be natural.
However, the veneration of saints and of Mary is another thing. It seems a great distraction from the worship of God, one might even compare it with excesses of Protestant Pentecostals in their emotionalism, including speaking in tongues which seems mostly fake. Christianity does not need distractions, we have everything through Jesus and power through the Holy Spirit to live genuine, holy lives for God.

Here is the problem for Islam: all the known prophets before 610, from Moses to Malachi, are the *many witnesses* who testify of and specifically submitted to the one God of the previous scriptures whose glory (shekinah) out of love of mankind (not weakness), *descends to the earth and dwelt with mankind* by entering the *TEMPLE* of Moses (Exodus 40:34) and Solomon (2 Chronicles 7:1-3).
This is Allah'/'Alaha' whom the Arabic and Aramaic Bibles teach. Allah of the Qur’an does not descend and dwell with mankind. The Allah of Deut 6:4 is therefore not the 'Allah' of the Qur’an. These are two different beings!

• Testament regarding slavery and parental authority over children. For example, in Titus 2:9-10, Paul states:
9 Tell slaves to be submissive to their masters and to give satisfaction in every respect; they are not to talk back,10 not to pilfer, but to show complete and perfect fidelity, so that in everything they may be an ornament to the doctrine of God our Savior.
Also in Ephesians 6:5:
5 Slaves, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ.
Why would slaves be trembling in fear before their masters? In 1 Peter 2:18, we read:
Slaves, accept the authority of your masters with all deference, not only those who are kind and gentle but also those who are harsh.
So even if a master is harsh, the slave is ordered to obey his authority with “all deference.”
And of course, the Old Testament explicitly (and infamously) gives masters the authority to beat their slaves up to the point of death, in Exodus 21:20-21:
20 “Anyone who beats their male or female slave with a rod must be punished if the slave dies as a direct result, 21 but they are not to be punished if the slave recovers after a day or two, since the slave is their property.
With children as well, the Bible gives fathers the authority (and encouragement) to use physical discipline (see Hebrews 12:5-11 and 1 Timothy 3:4 in the New Testament and Proverbs 23:13-14, 20:30, 13:24 in the Old Testament).
