      i'm not sure if it's your thing, but if you still have this problem i recommend ninomae ina'nis' art videos. her voice is quiet and calming and you can always hear the pen moving, and her art is really nice. i find them easy to fall asleep to

    Try "Eucerin" for the skin dryness, i had the issue, for me only Eucerin worked. Eucerin Ato Control. And use aqua soap on the area, the regular soap makes it worse. I had the issue for years, none worked, then my skin doc asked to use this.

      Besides lotions are meant to seal in x amount of fluids if that doesn’t work switch to a heavier cream or emulsion

      Calendula cream works wonders too. You can even make it yourself.

    I never heard of using vinegar when attaching pieces, my teachers always told me to use slip. I wonder if they just didn’t like the smell haha :) your pots are adorable and your videos bring me a lot of joy

      Vinegar can help especially if the clay is already getting past the leather hard stage! But you can definitely use either, I prefer slip personally :)

    thank you for helping me find my musical role model. listening and watching these videos always helps me rest and relax due to the music and asmr. and it made it even better when i recognize the trombone (though its hard not to notice it lol) and i've learned who the artists are and I look up to Akira Kusaka now and i aspire to become a great trombonist like him some day, so thank you so much for showing me him unintentionally.

    I love your videos! Seeing all of this hard work definitely makes me want to pay more on a quality product that someone poured their love and passion into rather than cheap products pressed out through a machine.
    I also recommend you try the Cerave moisturizing cleanser instead of regular hand soap and their moisturizing cream (not the lotion) They have helped my cracked hands a lot!

    Watching you cut the clay in the beginning just reminds me of my art classes in high school when we got to work with clay. She had one pottery wheel that we could use if we were interested. I'm sad that I never given it a chance. D:

      @@Lyddiebits hi, no, I haven’t yet! But I think about it quite often- I’ve moved twice since that comment, and I’m both cities I’ve looked for any ceramic course, but couldn’t find any. I’ll be finishing school this year, so hopefully next year I’ll be in college in a bigger city which allows me to learn it!

      With time and effort you could do it. If you are really passionate about your art and practice a lot you could have a successful business. But you need to do it because you love it not for money, small businesses are time consuming

    for that dry spot on ur hand maybe try buying an emollient from a pharmacy. this happens to my hands too. I think it might be cuz u wash ur hands alot with water when doing ceramics, for me its when i wash alot of dishes. Anyway try an emollient if u havent already they usually help me 😅

    About glazing, have you ever tried using underglaze and then a clear overglaze? It makes everything shiny and makes the pot able to be eaten out of
