I always try to get as much solder out of the holes as i can with all my projects. Honestly its the first time I've seen it done this way. Anyways i guess it works just as well as you have presented to us all here. Good job and thanks for the video ☺️
Nice work on the video! As always, you just get the job done, and present your projects in a way that would inspire just about anyone to give it a shot.
Thanks mate. Lovely feedback. The mod should take under an hour as it’s fairly simple but filming it took me about 3 hours! Definitely worth doing to a wah though
i bought an boss pw 3 wah because it has led lights standard on both sides , it;s great , now i finally see wether the pedal is in wah mode yes or no , this always bugged me during gigs using my cry baby .
He said 1k8 . This is because it's a regular LED. If you use a high bright LED and don't want it to become a tactical torch, they it could go up to 47k, depending on how bright you want it,
do You have any schematic or diagram on that wah pedal i have one like that and an original vox but somebody took somethings of The pedals and neither one works ,it just work The bypass You press The buttón and does nothing,,, if u have or know a webpage that has those schematics it would be awsome tx again..
Great vid! I’ve got a late 70’s early 80’s Dunlop Crybaby that I would like to try this on. Also, it only runs on batteries so I need to install a 9v power plug. Thanks for the great walkthrough. What could possibly go wrong? Peace and Love
@@PherotoneStudios An easy way to do this is to snap a second "battery snap" to the original + to -, then wire the 2nd Snap in reverse to the connectors to a DC Jack. That way, if you do want to use a battery, you can unsnap the second "Battery Snap" and plug in a battery as before doing the modification.
Thanks mate. Rather than buying an led, led holder and a resistor that’s compatible, it’s better to buy a kit with it all included as that saves you a lot of hassle. Google or eBay are your best bets. I bought my kit from eBay
@@PherotoneStudios Thanks man, i'll give a try. I really need a led on the wah! Mine is the old early 90s version without the easy access to the battery
Not really about just adding an LED 'then' (?), I don't need a bypass switch. Dear Dunlop; Super incredibly LAME of Dunlop to not include a .003 cent led, 'on' indicator. I spent several minutes trouble shooting my cables yesterday, due to a horrid sound on my clean and dirt channel, wondering if my pedal board, processor, or amp might be going into fail mode, only to finally realize I'd been fiddling with the wah the night before when it was off, hence it was somewhere between mids and highs, throwing out a spindly and unpleasant sound. 😄😢🤔😄

Will this work running off a battery only and no 9v adapter cable ?
Informative. Complete. Accurate. Visual.
Hey mate, could you please send the eBay link for the LED kit? I'm trying type in many ways, but it is showing million of another things.
Cheers!
Just did the mod, thx, peace of cake!
Best tutorial, very helpful 🖤
Thanks mate. I love comments like this
How would I just add an Led to my Vox V845? (NO true bypass) cheers

What size led ? 3mm, 5mm, 8mm ?
I have my boss tu3 tuner before my wah, will that act as a buffer for the wah also ?
awesome video! Cant wait to try this out!
Thanks mate. Well worth doing. Regret not doing it 10 years ago
So I did this mod and now my wah just acts like a volume pedal and reason as to why it is doing that?
Hi
I've been looking for the LED kit you showing ...but cant find it
Could you send me the vendor info ?
that would be really appreciated
thank you
D♪
eh, cool! How would I make a light bulb like this on a Kirk Hammett Signature Cry Baby Wah?
Where could one buy just the light kit?
Great video. Thanks

Does it only work with the 9v adapter cable? or does it also work with battery?
I need to know this
Sounds like the song of Fleetwood Mac: "you can go your own way".. Well, the chords progression..😂
I guarantee that’s what inspired it

It’s quite a simple process. Not sure how adding the 9v adaptor would work but it should be fairly simple

great video many thanks. So what's the type of led that i should buy?

excelente mi amigo,, buen tutorial,,Even i understand it,, jeje. tx.
just did this whole thing and it didn't turn on
Oh no. Did you need to replace the switch?
It could be the loom on the PCB being reattached the wrong way round.
My switch has 9....
Do I kill myself

Can this be done on a 535q? Same exact way?
